Abstract

The one of the learning strategy increasing learning achievement which is not only pushed on the means of learning but also giving motivation to the student’s learning achievements is important needed however. That The misgiving of the motivation which is not suitable may create the decrease of learning achievement. One of the giving motivation methods is to give positive words which consist of values so as to fix the motivation and the certainty of learning. This reserarch is focused on the student’s motivation improvement of learning achievement through to give positive words to the boarding school house of al-firdaus ngaliyan. Having the problem research, first , what the positive word mean to be, the second, how to improve the student’s learning achievements trough giving positive words in the boarding house of al-firdaus Ngaliyan. The purposed that supposed to be achieved is to describe related to the positive words and improve the student’s learning achievement by giving positive words in the boarding house of al-Firdaus Ngaliyan. Having the positive words , it is hoped for the students to get the positive words to be either attitude for learning or being social component to live with society. Here the method used is Class Room Action research arranged to hold on two cycle with three times of meeting. The subjects of research are the students of the boarding house of al-Firdaus Ngaliyan which comprise of 34 students. This research is done on November of 2012. This research comes from the problematical learning of the boarding house of al-Firdaus Ngaliyan. The learning achievements of the students show that there are still students to get the limit scores and moreover it is still less as being expected by the academic’s environments. From the student learning in the boarding house of al-Firdaus, 18 students get the unsatisfied score and the rest students , 16 students gets the same score as they hope it tobe. It could be concluded that the students of the boarding house of al-firdaus still need learning strategy or other ways in order to done learning however. After having the observation process, the evaluated result and the reflected of two cycles in Class Room Action Research by using the positive words could improve the student’s learning achievement and the student’s motivation howevee. Thye percentage of the student’s learning achievement which is from the first cycle tend to happen ,the first cycle was 70,7 it increased to be 0,3 in the calculated points from the begining that was only 70,4, in the cycle 2, the result was 76. Then the percentage of the students motivation during the Class room action research, for the first cycle , it was 67,64 % being compared to the starting 58,82, the second cycle was 82,36 % which increased to be 23, 54 % from the starting data to the ending. So that it prooves that learning strategy by using positive words has the strong significant effects of the students learning improvements and the students learning motivation achievement.
