The purpose of this study is to find out the students’ achievement of English Phonology and Pronunciation as well as the influence of English Phonology and Pronunciation. This study uses a quantitative approach as the method of this research. The Regression Analysis technique is employed to calculate the students’ score to know the students’ achievement of Phonology and their pronunciation and to find out the influence between those two variables. It was conducted at the fourth semester of English Language Education Department of IAIN Walisongo Semarang in Year 2013. The main technique of collecting data in this research is test, Phonology and Pronunciation test. Phonology test is written and pronunciation test is oral.

The researcher found the correlation between these two variables, English Phonology and Pronunciation, and the result is 0.338. After consulting the result to the table of r Product Moment with the number of subject (N) = 81 and significance level 5% and rtable is 0.220, because rxy > rtable, it means significant, so it was found that there is correlation between these variable with category “Low Correlation”.
From the result of regression analysis, it was known that the result is 10.17. After consulting it with Ftable, on the significant level 5%, it was known that Freg = 10.17 > Ftable = 3.98. Then, the hypothesis was accepted that there was positive influence between students’ achievement of phonology toward their pronunciation.
