Abstract

Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui mengapa kepemimpinan madrasah efektif diperlukan dalam peningkatan mutu madrasah di MI Miftahul Akhlaqiyah Ngaliyan Semarang dan bagaimana pelaksanaan kepemimpinan madrasah efektif di MI Miftahul Akhlaqiyah Ngaliyan Semarang. Jenis penelitian yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini yaitu pendekatan kualitatif dengan pendekatan fenomenologi. Teknik pengumpulan data dilakukan dengan wawancara, observasi, dan dokumentasi. Subjek dalam penelitian ini adalah kepala madrasah, Ketua Komite, Ketua Yayasan, Guru dan Siswa. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa: (1) Kepemimpinan madrasah efektif dalam meningkatkan mutu madrasah yang dilakukan oleh kepala madrasah Miftahul Akhlaqiyah ialah selalu menetapkan fokus yang jelas mengenai tujuan pengembangan mutu madrasah dan prestasi siswa baik di lingkungan madrasah dan luar madrasah, (2) Kepemimpinan madrasah efektif yang selalu memerankan kepemimpinan kolektif dan memerankan keteladanan pada seluruh level kegiatan di madrasah maupun luar madrasah sehingga berpenampilan diri sebagai panutan, (3) Mengevaluasi perkembangan kinerja guru dan siswa, agar prestasi guru dan siswa tercapai tujuan maksimal. Sehingga dampak kepemimpinan madrasah efektif ini adalah meningkatkan semangat kerja guru madrasah, meningkatkan keefektifan kerja tim staf dan guru madrasah, serta bisa meningkatkan prestasi belajar peserta didik secara optimal.

ABSTRACT:

The purpose of this study was to find out why effective madrasa leadership was needed in improving the quality of madrasa at MI Miftahul Akhlaqiyah Ngaliyan Semarang and how the implementation of madrasa leadership was effective at MI Miftahul Akhlaqiyah Ngaliyan Semarang. The approach used in this study is a qualitative approach with descriptive methods. The technique of collecting data is done by interviews, observation, and documentation. The subjects in this study were the head of the madrasa, Chair of the Committee, Chair of the Foundation, teachers and students. The results of the study indicate that: (1) Madrasa leadership is effective in improving the quality of madrasas conducted by the principal of the Miftahul Akhlaqiyah madrasa is to always set a clear focus on the objectives of developing madrasa quality and student achievement both in madrasa and outside the madrasa, (2) effective madrasa leadership which always plays a collective leadership and portray exemplary at all levels of activity in the madrasa and outside the madrasa so that they appear as role models, (3) Evaluate the development of the performance of teachers and students, so that the achievement of teachers and students is achieved at the maximum. So the impact of the leadership of this effective madrasa is to increase the morale of the madrasa teachers, to improve the work effectiveness of the madrasa staff and teacher team, and to be able to optimally improve student learning achievement.
