Abstract

Tujuan penulisan artikel ini adalah untuk mengidentifikasi 4 hal pokok, yakni 1. jenis dan bentuk bullying; 2. faktor-faktor pembentuk terjadinya perilaku bullying di lembaga pendidikan. 3. dampak bullying pada pelajar; 4. beberapa program pencegahan bullying, atau disebut dengan pendidikan anti bullying. Jenis penelitian ini adalah penelitian kepustakaan/literatur (library research), yakni data penelitian yang bertumpu pada data-data kepustakaan, tetapi didasarkan pada buku, disertasi hasil field research, jurnal, bahkan beberapa di antaranya merupakan longitudinal survey. Sedangkan pendekatan yang digunakan adalah pendekatan kualitatif, dengan teknis analisis kritis. Temuan penelitian: 1. Jenis dan bentuk bullying ada 3 yakni: fisik, verbal dan relational; 2. Faktor pembentuk terjadinya perilaku bullying ada 2 yakni faktor pelaku dan faktor korban. Faktor pelaku, misalnya: berkepribadian dan berperilaku agresif, merasa lebih unggul dari sisi ras, sosial ekonomi, kelompok mayoritas, pernah ditindas di masa lalu, faktor budaya, salah asuh orang tua, pengaruh lingkungan yang buruk dan lain-lain. Sementara faktor korban, karena korban dianggap berasal dari ras yang tidak unggul, berasal dari sosial ekonomi yang rendah, tidak adanya pengawasan dari orang dewasa, kekurangsempurnaan pada fisik dan lain-lain. 3. Dampak bullying pada pelajar antara lain: menurunnya derajat kesehatan, stress, depresi, menurunnya prestasi belajar atau akademik, enggan berangkat ke sekolah, bahkan keinginan melakukan bunuh diri. 4. Beberapa program anti bullying yang digagas para ahli, antara lain: para pendidik harus memahami fenomena bullying dan praktik terbaik dalam men¬cegahnya, keterlibatan orang tua, pengembangan jiwa sosial dan emosional, mempertimbangkan faktor-faktor kontekstual, menciptakan lingkungan yang aman, inisiatif anti bullying harus mencakup individu, rekan, keluarga, lembaga pendidikan, dan pemangku ke¬pentingan masyarakat, pentingnya memasukkan pendidikan karakter, dan lain-lain.

ABSTRACT:
The purpose of writing this article is to identify 4 main things, namely 1. types and forms of bullying; 2. the factors forming the occurrence of bullying behavior in educational institutions. 3. the impact of bullying on students; 4. several bullying prevention programs, or anti bullying education. This type of research is library research, namely research data that relies on library data, but is based on books, field research dissertations, journals, even some of which are longitudinal surveys. While the approach used is a qualitative approach, with technical critical analysis. Research findings: 1. Types and forms of bullying are 3, namely: physical, verbal and relational; 2. Factors forming the occurrence of bullying behavior are 2, namely the factors of the perpetrator and the victim factor. Actors, for example: personality and aggressive behavior, feel superior in terms of race, socio-economic, majority group, have been bullied in the past, cultural factors, foster parents care, bad environmental influences and others. While the victim factor, because the victim is considered to be from a non-superior race, comes from low socio-economic conditions, lack of supervision from adults, physical imperfections and others. 3. The impact of bullying on students includes: decreased health status, stress, depression, decreased learning achievement or academic, reluctance to go to school, even the desire to commit suicide. 4. Some anti-bullying programs initiated by experts include: educators must understand the phenomenon of bullying and best practices in preventing it, involvement of parents, development of social and emotional souls, considering contextual factors, creating a safe environment, anti-initiative bullying must include individuals, colleagues, families, educational institutions, and community stakeholders, the importance of including character education, and others.
