Abstract

Penelitian ini dilakukan untuk mengungkapkan bagaimana pendidikan toleransi beragama di SDN. 04 Purwodadi. Tercatat, jumlah siswa yang belajar di SDN 04 Purwodadi sebanyak 560 siswa, terdiri dari 532 siswa muslim, 28 siswa non mulim. Toleransi beragama sangat diperlukan oleh masyarakat di Indonesia.Penanaman nilai-nilai toleransi antar umat beragama melalui pendidikan merupakan cara yang efektif.
Data diambil dengan menggunakan pendekatan fenomenologi yaitu mengungkap data fenomena sosial yang dikumpulkan dengan interview mendalam (in-depth interview). Tehnik analisis data menggunakan analisis yang dilakukan secara simultan dengan proses pengumpulan data berupa hasil wawancara kepada Kepala Sekolah dan Guru Agama di SDN.04 Purwodadi. Hasil penelitian diketahui bahwa: (1) Pendidikan toleransi beragama di SDN. 04 Purwodadi dilakukan secara menyeluruh yang termuat di kurikulum satuan pendidikan, SOP Budaya Sekolah dan dikuatkan dalam kurikulum Pendidikan Agama Islam & Budi Pekerti dibuktikan dengan silabus, RPP dan pengetahuan materi toleransi beragama (moral knowing) pada kelas VI SD/MI yaitu pada Bab 8, “Senangnya Berakhlak Terpuji” dan materi yang terintegrasi dengan toleransi beragama. (2) Pendidikan toleransi beragama sejak usia anak-anak dipandang perlu karena akan memunculkan kesadaran dan perasaan yang kuat sehingga memotivasi siswa untuk melakukan perbuatan sikap toleransi beragama sehingga dapat menjaga kerukunan di tengah perbedaan masyarakat yang ada. (3) Implikasi dari pendidikan toleransi beragama di SDN.04 Purwodadi toleransi cukup tinggi. Namun, sekolah belum dapat menyediakan tempat ibadah sesuai agama masing-masing karena keterbatasan lahan dan dana.

ABSTRACT:
This research was conducted to reveal how religious tolerance education in SDN. 04 Purwodadi. It was recorded that the number of students studying at SDN 04 Purwodadi was 560 students, consisting of 532 Muslim students, 28 non-Muslim students. Religious tolerance is very much needed by people in Indonesia. Instilling the values of tolerance between religious communities through education is an effective way.
The data was taken using a phenomenological approach, namely revealing data on social phenomena collected by in-depth interviews. The data analysis technique used an analysis that was carried out simultaneously with the data collection process in the form of interviews with the Principal and Religious Teachers at SDN.04 Purwodadi. The results of the study found that: (1) Religious tolerance education in SDN. 04 Purwodadi is carried out thoroughly which is contained in the curriculum of the education unit, SOP for School Culture and strengthened in the curriculum of Islamic Religious Education & Budi Pekerti as evidenced by the syllabus, lesson plans and knowledge of religious tolerance material (moral knowing) in grade VI SD/MI, namely in Chapter 8, “The Joy of Praiseworthy Morals” and materials that are integrated with religious tolerance. (2) Religious tolerance education from the age of children is deemed necessary because it will raise awareness and strong feelings so as to motivate students to take actions of religious tolerance so that they can maintain harmony in the midst of existing community differences. (3) The implications of religious tolerance education at SDN.04 Purwodadi tolerance are quite high. However, schools have not been able to provide places of worship according to their respective religions due to limited land and funds.
