Safety valve is one of the functionalism conflict’s propositions. This is described by a German sociologist, Lewis A. Coser. I try to analyze this for Togaten’s conflict. We have to find the conflict reality, whether the conflict is realistic or not? When we find that this is a realistic conflict, we can be resolved by meeting the demands of the goal antagonist and the protagonist disappointment. But, if this is not a realistic conflict, we can not be resolved in that way. It is just a temporary conflict in their rival’s relationship.
