Abstract

Gerhana Matahari global memberikan informasi jalur gerhana yang terjadi di seluruh permukaan Bumi. Akurasi hasil hisab kitab al-Durru al-Anīq jika dibandingkan dengan NASA di setiap fase gerhana terbagi menjadi dua: pertama selisih dalam orde detik untuk awal dan akhir penumbra serta puncak gerhana, kedua selisih dalam orde menit (1-3 menit 12 detik) untuk awal dan akhir umbra di beberapa kasus. Studi ini dimaksudkan untuk menjawab pertanyaan: (1) Bagaimana akurasi perhitungan gerhana Matahari global saat awal dan akhir umbra dalam kitab al-Durru al-Anīq? (2) Bagaimana reformulasi akurasi algoritma gerhana Matahari global saat awal dan akhir umbra? Permasalahan ini dibahas melalui studi pustaka dan komparasi antara kitab dengan hasil reformulasi dan NASA sebagai acuan akurasi. Data yang diperoleh diolah untuk membuat reformulasi algoritma yang berfungsi untuk meningkatkan akurasi hasil hisab.
Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa: (1) Akurasi hisab gerhana Matahari global saat awal dan akhir umbra dibeberapa kasus tidak akurat karena memiliki selisih dalam orde menit yang disebabkan kurangnya iterasi dan logika penggunaan tmu3. (2) Reformulasi memanfaatkan data koordinat puncak gerhana dan melakukan iterasi 3 kali serta menambah logika penggunaan tmu3. Tipe gerhana Matahari cincin memiliki selisih terbesar 3 menit 12 detik, setelah direformulasi menjadi 6 detik. Selisih terbesar untuk tipe gerhana Matahari total yaitu 1 menit 35 detik, setelah direformulasi memiliki selisih 27 detik. Sedangkan tipe gerhana Matahari hybrid memiliki selisih 1 menit 4 detik, kemudian menjadi 25 detik setelah dilakukan reformulasi.

ABSTRACT:
Global solar eclipses provide data or information on the path of eclipses across the earth’s surface. When compare to NASA, the accuracy of the reckoning results of the book al-Durru al-Anīq in each phase of the eclipse is divided in two : the first is the difference in the order of seconds for the beginning and end of the panumbra and the peak of the eclipse, and the second is the difference in the order of minutes (1-3 minutes 12 seconds) for the early and late umbra in some cases. This research aims to provide answers to the following questions: (1) How accurate is the calculation of global solar eclipses at the beginning and end of the umbra in the book al-Durru al-Anīq? (2) How to reformulate the accuracy of the global solar eclipse algorithm at the beginning and end of the umbra? This problem is discussed through literature studies and comparisons between the book and the reformulation results and NASA as a reference for accuracy. The data obtained is processed to create an algorithm reformulation that functions to improve the accuracy of the reckoning results.
The results of this study indicate that: (1) The accuracy of calculating global solar eclipses at the beginning and end of the umbra is in some cases inaccurate because it has a difference of the order of minutes due to lack of iteration and logic of using tmu3. (2) The reformulation utilizes the eclipse peak coordinate data and iterates 3 times and adds the logic for using tmu3. The ring solar eclipse type has the biggest difference of 3 minutes 12 seconds, after being reformulated it becomes 6 seconds. The biggest difference for the type of total solar eclipse is 1 minute 35 seconds, after being reformulated it has a difference of 27 seconds. While the type of hybrid solar eclipse has a difference of 1 minute 4 seconds, then it becomes 25 seconds after the reformulation is carried out.
