Abstract
Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk melaporkan tentang kualitas Pengawas PAI terhadap kompetensi Guru PAI di SLTA Kecamatan Weleri Kabupaten Kendal melalui perencanaan, pelaksanaan, evaluasi dan upaya tindak lanjut melalui penyusunan program secara berkala. Guna mencapai tujuan akhir dari studi ini, peneliti mencoba menjawab rumusan masalah tentang bagaimana kualitas perencanaan, pelaksanaan, pelaporan, dan rencana tindak lanjut Pengawas PAI untuk meningkatkan kompetensi Guru PAI.
Penelitian ini juga mengeksplor pandangan 5 Guru PAI dari sekolah negeri maupun swasta tentang kinerja Pengawas PAI secara akademik dan non akademik melalui wawancara dan observasi. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode deskriptif kualitatif melalui pendekatan observasi dan wawancara secara langsung.
Studi ini menemukan bahwa kualitas kinerja Pengawas PAI yang dilihat dari K1-K4 dengan keterangan 1). K 1 ialah Penyusunan program kepengawasan; 2). K 2 ialah pelaksanaan program kepengawasan; 3). K 3 ialah evaluasi hasil pelaksanaan program kepengawasan dan tindak lanjut, dan 4). K 4 ialah Pembimbingan dan Pelatihan kompetensi guru mencapai predikat yang sangat baik. Temuan tersebut didasarkan dari penilaian oleh peneliti merujuk aturan Kementrian Agama Tahun 2012 No 02 tentang kualitas kinerja Pengawas PAI dan dukungan dari wawancara tentang pengalaman guru-guru PAI yang disupervisi secara langsung.
Kesimpulan dari studi ini ialah ruang lingkup kerja pengawas PAI tidak hanya melakuka perencanaan secara ril di lapangan mengenai kebutuhan guru-guru PAI akan tetapi juga melakukan pelatihan, bimbingan kelompok, dan diskusi hasil observasi serta rencana tindak lanjut yang tertuang dalam laporan program Pengawas PAI.
ABSTRACT:
This study aims to report on the quality of PAI Supervisors towards the competence of PAI Teachers in SLTA, Weleri District, Kendal Regency through planning, implementation, evaluation and follow-up efforts through periodic program preparation. In order to achieve the final objective of this study, the researcher tried to answer the formulation of the problem about how the quality of planning, implementation, reporting, and follow-up plans of PAI Supervisors to improve the competence of PAI Teachers.
This study also explores the views of 5 PAI Teachers from public and private schools about the performance of PAI Supervisors academically and non-academically through interviews and observations. This study uses a qualitative descriptive method through a direct observation and interview approach.
This study found that the quality of PAI Supervisor performance as seen from K1-K4 with the following descriptions: 1). K 1 is the preparation of a supervision program; 2). K 2 is the implementation of a supervision program; 3). K 3 is the evaluation of the results of the implementation of the supervision program and follow-up, and 4). K 4 is the Guidance and Training of teacher competence achieved a very good predicate.
The findings are based on the assessment by researchers referring to the regulation of the Ministry of Religion of 2012 No. 02 concerning the quality of the performance of PAI Supervisors and support from interviews about the experiences of PAI teachers who are directly supervised.
The conclusion of this study is that the scope of work of PAI supervisors is not only to carry out real planning in the field regarding the needs of PAI teachers but also to conduct training, group guidance, and discussion of observation results and follow-up plans contained in the PAI Supervisor program report.
