Abstract
Peternak ayam di pedesaan umumnya masih menggunakan metode manual untuk pemberian pakan, minum, dan pengaturan pencahayaan, yang memerlukan banyak tenaga kerja. Penelitian ini bertujuan mengembangkan sistem otomatis berbasis IoT dengan platform Blynk untuk mempermudah pengelolaan kandang ayam. Sistem dikembangkan menggunakan metode Research and Development (R&D) dengan NodeMCU ESP8266 sebagai penghubung Wi-Fi, motor servo untuk pakan, pompa air untuk minum, sensor LDR untuk pencahayaan otomatis, dan modul relay untuk distribusi listrik. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan dengan delay 7 detik pada motor servo mendapat rata-rata takaran pakan 20 gram, pompa air mengalirkan air dengan delay 6,92 detik dengan volume takaran air rata-rata 45,1 ml, dan pencahayaan otomatis menyala atau mati sesuai intensitas cahaya. Semua sistem dikendalikan melalui aplikasi Blynk. Validasi sistem mendapat skor 86,7%, yang berarti layak diuji coba setelah revisi. Sistem ini mempermudah pengelolaan kandang ayam dan mengurangi ketergantungan pada tenaga kerja manual.
ABSTRACT:
Chicken farmers in rural areas generally still use manual methods for feeding, drinking and lighting, which requires a lot of labor. This research aims to develop an IoT-based automatic system with the Blynk platform to simplify chicken coop management. The system was developed using the Research and Development (R&D) method with the NodeMCU ESP8266 as a Wi-Fi connector, a servo motor for feed, a water pump for drinking, an LDR sensor for automatic lighting, and a relay module for electricity distribution. The results of the study showed that with a 7 second delay on the servo motor, the average feed dose was 20 grams, the water pump flowed water with a 6.92 second delay with an average water dose volume of 45.1 ml. and the lighting automatically turns on or off according to the light intensity. All systems are controlled via the Blynk app. The system validation received a score of 86.7%, which means it is worth testing after revision. This system simplifies chicken coop management and reduces dependence on manual labor.
