ASI eksklusif adalah pemberian Air Susu Ibu tanpa tambahan makanan atau minuman lain pada bayi selama enam bulan pertama kehidupannya, tanpa susu formula, jus, madu, air teh, air putih, atau makanan padat seperti pisang, biskuit, bubur nasi, atau nasi tim kecuali obat-obatan, vitamin, dan mineral yang diresepkan (WHO, 2013). Tujuan dari penelitian ini untuk mengetahui hubungan antara faktor usia ibu, pendidikan ibu, pengetahuan ibu, sikap ibu, IMD, dan dukungan suami terhadap kegagalan pemberian ASI eksklusif di wilayah kerja Puskesmas Puledagel. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan cross-sectional. Teknik pengambilan sampel pada penelitian ini menggunakan non-probability sampling dengan purposive sampling. Total sampel dalam penelitian ini sebanyak 61 responden. Hasil uji Chi Square pada usia ibu dengan ASI eksklusif (p= 0,714), hasil uji Chi Square pada pendidikan ibu dengan ASI eksklusif (p= 0,120), hasil uji Chi Square pada pengetahuan ibu dengan ASI eksklusif (p= 0,002), hasil uji Chi Square pada sikap ibu dengan ASI eksklusif (p= 0,001), hasil uji Chi Square pada IMD dengan ASI eksklusif (p= 0,001), dan hasil uji Chi Square pada dukungan suami dengan ASI eksklusif (p= 0,045). Kesimpulan pada penelitian ini terdapat hubungan yang signifikan antara faktor pengetahuan ibu, sikap ibu, IMD dan dukungan suami terhadap kegagalan pemberian ASI eksklusif. Inisiasi Menyusui Dini menjadi variabel yang paling berpengaruh terhadap kegagalan pemberian ASI eksklusif.

ABSTRACT:
Exclusive breastfeeding is the provision of breast milk without additional food or other drinks to babies during the first six months of life, without formula milk, juice, honey, tea, water, or solid foods such as bananas, biscuits, rice porridge, or nasi tim except prescribed medicines, vitamins and minerals (WHO, 2013). The aim of this research is to determine the relationship between maternal age, maternal education, maternal knowledge, maternal attitude, IMD, and husband's support on failure to provide exclusive breastfeeding in the Puledagel Health Center working area. This research uses a cross-sectional approach. The sampling technique in this research used non-probability sampling with purposive sampling. The total sample in this study was 61 respondents. Fisher's test results on the age of exclusively breastfed mothers (p= 0.714), Chi Square test results on the education of exclusively breastfed mothers (p= 0.120), Chi Square test results on knowledge of exclusively breastfed mothers (p= 0.002), Chi test results Square on the attitude of mothers with exclusive breastfeeding (p= 0.001), Chi Square test results on IMD with exclusive breastfeeding (p= 0.001), and Chi Square test results on husband's support with exclusive breastfeeding (p= 0.045). The conclusion of this study is that there is a significant relationship between maternal knowledge, maternal attitudes, IMD, and husband’s support on failure to provide exclusive breastfeeding. Early initiation of breastfeeding is the variable that has the most influence on the failure of exclusive breastfeeding.
