Abstract

Latar Belakang: Status gizi merupakan hasil dari keseimbangan asupan dan kebutuhan terhadap metabolisme tubuh. Status gizi dipengaruhi oleh berbagai faktor diantaranya tingkat kecukupan energi, dan zat gizi makro, waktu makan yang teratur salah satunya kebiasaan sarapan, serta penyakit infeksi.
Tujuan: Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui adanya hubungan tingkat kecukupan energi, tingkat kecukupan zat gizi makro, kebiasaan sarapan dengan status gizi anak sekolah dasar usia 10-12 tahun di MI Ma’hadul Muta’alimin Pemalang.
Metode Penelitian: Penelitian ini menggunakan desain penelitian cross-sectional dan melibatkan 64 responden yang dipilih menggunakan teknik simple random sampling. Pengambilan data kebiasaan sarapan dengan pengisian kuesioner, food recall 3x24 jam untuk data tingkat kecukupan energi dan zat gizi makro (karbohidrat, protein, dan lemak), serta status gizi berdasarkan Indeks Massa Tubuh menurut Umur (IMT/U).
Hasil: Penelitian menunjukkan bahwa sebagian besar kebiasaan sarapan cukup (53,1%), tingkat kecukupan energi kurang (59,4%), tingkat kecukupan karbohidrat cukup (62,5%), tingkat kecukupan protein sangat kurang (50%), tingkat kecukupan lemak cukup (50%), dan status gizi z-score IMT/U baik (67,2%). Berdasarkan uji gamma didapatkan tidak ada hubungan kebiasaan sarapan dengan status gizi (p=0,982), ada hubungan tingkat kecukupan energi dengan status gizi (p=0,010), ada hubungan tingkat kecukupan karbohidrat dengan status gizi (p<0,001), ada hubungan tingkat kecukupan protein dengan status gizi (p<0,001), dan ada hubungan tingkat kecukupan lemak dengan status gizi (p=0,009).
Kesimpulan: Tidak terdapat hubungan antara kebiasaan sarapan dengan status gizi. Namun, terdapat hubungan antara tingkat kecukupan energi dan zat gizi makro (karbohidrat, protein, dan lemak) dengan status gizi.

ABSTRACT:
Background : Nutritional status is a result of a balance of nutritional intake and the needs for body metabolism. Nutritional status is influenced by various factors including adequate levels of energy and macronutrients, regular meal times, including breakfast habits, and infectious diseases.
Purpose : This study aims to determine the relationship between the level of energy adequacy, the level of macronutrient adequacy, breakfast habits, and the nutritional status of elementary school children aged 10-12 years at MI Ma'hadul Muta'alimin Pemalang.
Methods :. This research used a cross-sectional research design and involved 64 respondents selected using a simple random sampling technique. Data collection on breakfast habits by filling out a questionnaire, 3x24 hour food recall for data on energy adequacy levels and macronutrients (carbohydrates, protein, and fat), as well as nutritional status based on Body Mass Index according to Age (BMI/U).
Result : Research shows that the majority of breakfast habits are adequate (53.1%), energy adequacy levels are low (59.4%), carbohydrate adequacy levels are adequate (62.5%), protein adequacy levels are inferior (50%), fat adequacy levels sufficient (50%), and nutritional status z-score BMI/U was good (67.2%). Based on the gamma test, it was found that there was no relationship between breakfast habits and nutritional status (p=0.982), there was a relationship between the level of energy adequacy and nutritional status (p=0.010), there was a relationship between the level of carbohydrate adequacy and nutritional status (p<0.001), there was a relationship between the level of adequacy protein with nutritional status (p<0.001), and there is a relationship between the level of adequate fat and nutritional status (p=0.009).
Conclusion : There is no relationship between breakfast habits and nutritional status. However, there is a relationship between the level of adequate energy and macronutrients (carbohydrates, protein and fat) and nutritional status.
