Abstract

Perestasi belajar siswa dipengaruhi oleh berbagai faktor, baik internal maupun eksternal. Salah satu aspek penting adalah kesehatan fisik, yang mencakup status gizi dan kebiasaan sarapan. Faktor ini memiliki peran krusial dalam mendukung konsentrasi, daya ingat, serta energi, yang pada akhirnya memberikan dampak positif terhadap hasil akademik siswa. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis hubungan antara kebiasaan sarapan dan status gizi dengan prestasi belajar siswa di SMP IT Darussalamah Kendal. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode observasi analitik dengan desain cross-sectional dan melibatkan 55 siswa yang dipilih melalui teknik proportionate random sampling. Data dikumpulkan menggunakan instrumen berupa SQ-FFQ, pengukuran berat badan dan tinggi badan, serta nilai akhir raport siswa. Analisis data dilakukan dengan menggunakan perangkat lunak SPSS, mengaplikasikan uji korelasi Gamma. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa 56,4% siswa memiliki kebiasaan sarapan yang kurang memadai, 74,5% memiliki status gizi dalam kategori normal, dan 38,2 menunjukkan hasil belajar yang sama antara baik dan kurang. Analisis bivariat mengungkapkan adanya hubungan signifikan antara kebiasaan sarapan dengan prestasi belajar (p=0,001; r=1,000). Namun, tidak ditemukan hubungan signifikan antara status gizi dengan prestasi belajar (p=0,609; r=-0,110). Kesimpulan dari penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa kebiasaan sarapan memiliki hubungan yang signifikan terhadap prestasi belajar siswa, sedangkan status gizi tidak memberikan pengaruh yang signifikan terhadap hasil akademik mereka.

ABSTRACT:
Student learning achievement is influenced by various factors, both internal and external. One important aspect is physical health, which includes nutritional status and breakfast habits. These factors play a crucial role in supporting concentration, memory, and energy, which in turn have a positive impact on students' academic results. This study aims to analyze the relationship between breakfast habits and nutritional status with students' learning achievement at SMP IT Darussalamah Kendal. This study used analytic observation method with cross-sectional design and involved 55 students selected through proportionate random sampling technique. Data were collected using instruments such as SQ-FFQ, weight and height measurements, and students' final report card scores. Data analysis was conducted using SPSS software, applying the Gamma correlation test. The results showed that 56.4% of students had inadequate breakfast habits, 74.5% had nutritional status in the normal category, and 38.2 showed equal learning outcomes between good and poor. Bivariate analysis revealed a significant relationship between breakfast habits and learning achievement (p=0.001; r=1.000). However, there was no significant relationship between nutritional status and learning achievement (p=0.609; r=-0.110). The conclusion of this study shows that breakfast habits have a significant relationship with students' learning achievement, while nutritional status does not have a significant influence on their academic results.
