Kehadiran industri di Desa Banyuputih, Kecamatan Kalinyamatan, Kabupaten Jepara menjadi fenomena yang menarik untuk dikaji dalam kaitannya dengan perubahan sosial masyarakat. Industri membawa banyak perubahan dalam kehidupan masyarakat baik itu fisik maupun non fisik. Industri padat karya menawarkan kesempatan kerja formal terbuka lebar. Kendati demikian, kualifikasi yang ditetapkan oleh industri seringkali membatasi masyarakat dalam menjangkau pekerjaan formal. Terjun ke pekerjaan informal menjadi respon atas keterbatasan yang dihadapi masyarakat. Lebih dari itu, pekerjaan informal di Desa Banyuputih juga dilihat sebagai pekerjaan yang menjanjikan, pasalnya peningkatan jumlah pekerja di desa menjadikan permintaan barang dan jasa meningkat. Karenanya, penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui kondisi sosial ekonomi pasca kehadiran industri dan faktor penyebab masyarakat menggeluti usaha di sektor informal.
Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian lapangan yang menggunakan metode kualitatif dengan pendekatan naratif. Sumber data dalam penelitian ini yaitu data primer dan data sekunder. Teknik pengumpulan data menggunakan observasi, wawancara semi terstruktur, dan dokumentasi. Informan dalam penelitian ini diambil melalui teknik purposive di antaranya yaitu pelaku ekonomi sektor informal, warga Desa Banyuputih, dan Pemerintah Desa. Penelitian ini menggunakan Data yang diperoleh dianalisis melalui reduksi data, penyajian data, dan penarikan kesimpulan. Teori yang digunakan untuk mengkaji penelitian ini yaitu Teori Perubahan Sosial Emile Durkheim.
Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa kehadiran industri menjadikan kondisi sosial dan ekonomi di Desa Banyuputih mengalami perubahan. Perubahan pada kondisi sosial pasca kehadiran industri yaitu meningkatnya jumlah pendatang yang masuk dari luar daerah, keadaan lingkungan desa menjadi aman yang sebelumnya rawan kriminalitas, pembangunan fasilitas umum berupa pasar dan jalan, serta pemberian bantuan sosial bagi masyarakat. Sementara, kondisi ekonomi yaitu meningkatnya kesempatan kerja baik itu disektor formal maupun informal, berkembanganya usaha kecil menengah, dan meningkatnya pendapatan masyarakat. Faktor-faktor yang menyebabkan masyarakat menggeluti ekonomi sektor informal yaitu adanya peluang pasar pasca pembangunan industri, fasilitas penunjang berupa pasar, latar belakang pendidikan masyarakat, dan fleksibilitas waktu kerja serta modal. Industri menyebabkan masyarakat mengalami transformasi dari masyarakat dengan solidaritas mekanik yang dicirikan dengan homogenitas menuju solidaritas organik dengan masyarakat heterogen yang ikatan sosialnya terbentuk atas ketergantungan fungsional antar masing-masing anggota masyarakat. Industri turus membawa dinamika baru yang menyebabkan masyarakat beradaptasi dengan lingkungan ekonomi baru yaitu ekonomi sektor informal.

ABSTRACT:
The presence of industry in Banyuputih Village, Kalinyamatan District, Jepara Regency is an interesting phenomenon to study in relation to social changes in the community. Industry brings many changes in people's lives, both physical and non-physical. Labor-intensive industries offer wide-open formal employment opportunities. However, the qualifications set by the industry often limit people from reaching formal jobs. So that entering informal work is a response to the limitations faced by the community. More than that, informal work in Banyuputih Village is also seen as a promising job, because the increase in the number of workers in the village makes the demand for goods and services increase. Therefore, this study aims to find out the socio-economic conditions after the presence of industry and the factors that cause people to engage in business in the informal sector.
This research is a field research that uses a qualitative method with a narrative approach. The data sources in this study are primary data and secondary data. Data collection techniques use observation, semi-structured interviews, and documentation. The informants in this study were taken through purposive techniques, including informal sector economic actors, residents of Banyuputih Village, and the Village Government. This study uses data obtained analyzed through data reduction, data presentation, and conclusion drawn. The theory used to study this research is Emile Durkheim's Theory of Social Change.
The results of the study show that the presence of industry has made social and economic conditions in Banyuputih Village change. Changes in social conditions after the presence of industry are an increase in the number of immigrants entering from outside the region, the state of the village environment has become safe which was previously prone to crime, the construction of public facilities in the form of markets and roads, and the provision of social assistance for the community. Meanwhile, economic conditions are increasing job opportunities both in the formal and informal sectors, the development of small and medium enterprises, and increasing people's income. The factors that cause people to engage in the informal sector economy are the existence of post-industrial development market opportunities, supporting facilities in the form of markets, community education backgrounds, and flexibility in working time and capital. Industry causes society to undergo a transformation from a society with mechanical solidarity characterized by homogeneity to organic solidarity with heterogeneous societies whose social bonds are formed on functional dependence between each member of society. The turus industry brings new dynamics that cause people to adapt to the new economic environment, namely the informal sector economy.
