aims to be a reference and can provide a complete picture related to the virtues of marriage that are relevant to today’s life, so that they can create a sakīnah mawaddah waraḥmah family. The type of research is a library research with a qualitative approach. The primary source is the book al-Tafsir al-Munīr fi al-‘Aqidah wa al-Shari’ah wa al-Manhaj by Wahbah Az-Zuhaili. In contrast, the secondary source is from various books, journals, and other relevant references to this researcher’s problem. The method used is the descriptive analytical method, and the research model uses a character study. The results of this study consist of two points; the first is Wahbah Az-Zuhaili’s interpretation of verses related to virtue of marriage. Here, Wahbah Az-Zuhaili explains that Allah has created his creatures from the same of type, namely male and female. Of each of these types, Allah has destined them to live in pairs because that is how Allah gives the virtues of marriage contained in it, such as maintaining purity, guaranteeing sustenance from Allah, means of obtaining tranquility, happiness, affection, and love (sakīnah mawaddah waraḥmah), blessings of life, peace of mind, and continuity of generations. The results of the second study show that the interpretation of Wahbah Az-Zuhaili is very relevant to the condition virtue of marriage today’s. Wahbah Az-Zuhaili emphasized that marriage is an actual manifestation of Allah SWT blessings on humans, which include the creation of a partner for peace of mind (sakīnah mawaddah waraḥmah), the gift of offspring and the blessing of sustenance.
