Kuttab Al-Fatih represents an Islamic educational institution employing classical Middle Eastern pedagogical approaches. To preserve Indonesia's national integrity, the institution emphasizes the cultivation and reinforcement of nationalism values among its students. This study examines three core dimensions: (1) the concept of nationalism from the perspective of at Kuttab Al-Fatih Semarang, (2) the implementation of Islamic based-education at Kuttab Al-Fatih Semarang, and (3) the strengthening students’ nationalism attitudes through Islamic education at Kuttab Al-Fatih Semarang. This research employs a descriptive qualitative method, with data collection techniques including interviews, observation, and documentation. This research concludes three points. First, Kuttab Al-Fatih Semarang as an Islamic educational institution, effectively integrates nationalism values into its learning system. Nationalism according this institution is framed as an Islamic obligation under Sharia to preserve national unity, grounded in Quranic principles. Second, Kuttab Al-Fatih Semarang utilises the faith and Qur’an-based curriculum. The pedagogical approach at Kuttab Al-Fatih Semarang is tailored to elementary school-aged children by implementing diverse teaching methods both inside and outside the classroom. Third, the efforts to strengthen student’ nationalism attitudes at Kuttab Al-Fatih Semarang include: (1) classroom-based instruction, (2) cultivation of a nationalism educational environment, and (3) targeted activities and programs that strengthen nationalism. These initiatives collectively foster a religio-nationalist attitude among students.
