This study aims to examine the implementation of Islamic education through the Praktik Dakwah Lapangan (PDL) program carried out by class XI students at MA Ma'ahid Kudus. The PDL program is one of the experiential learning innovations that aims to train students to practice Islamic values directly in the community. This research uses qualitative research with a descriptive approach. This data source uses primary and secondary data sources; the primary data source is the principal, the teacher in charge of the PDL program, the field assistant teacher, and the students. The secondary data source is data obtained from existing data sources. Data collection techniques from this study used observation, interviews, and documentation. The results showed that implementing the MA Ma'ahid Kudus Praktik Dakwah Lapangan (PDL) activity program involves planning, preparing, implementing, and evaluating. The results of implementing the PDL program positively impact the formation of students' Islamic character, such as sincerity, responsibility, and social usefulness, and train the courage of public speaking. In addition, this program also strengthens students' understanding of Islamic religious education materials by integrating theory and practice well. The PDL program improved students' preaching skills and strengthened the relationship between students and the community. Implementing the Praktik Dakwah Lapangan (PDL) program at MA Ma'ahid Kudus can be a relevant learning model for other educational institutions to produce a generation with Islamic character who can contribute positively to society.
