The Qur'an and hadiṡ are guidelines, sources of knowledge and regulations for all people in carrying out their lives. The discussion of one of the stories of the prophet enshrined in the Qur'an is a reference when there is a similar problem. In this modern age, the behavior of mankind can exceed the behavior of the prophets who were destroyed by the punishment of Allah. The other is the LGBTQ or homosexual behavior that the Prophet Luth once did. LGBTQ is a heinous and haram deviant behavior that cannot be tolerated because it violates human nature. This thesis uses comparative analysis. A method of comparison between two interpretations. The purpose of this study is to identify the similarities and differences of each trusted interpreter. In this work, the author uses an approach with a qualitative type of research and with a literature study research method. The author uses documents and literacy as the main data sources, related to the main discussion of the problem formulation. The results of this research are the thoughts conveyed by M. Quraish Shihab and Wahbah Az-Zuhaili proving that homosexual acts or LGBTQ are heinous actions that are highly unjustified and categorized as violations of human nature. Not only that, LGBTQ is said to be a behavior that brings many negative impacts and destruction to oneself. LGBTQ behavior is a manifestation of the desire to attain pleasure in deviant and dishonorable ways, which causes anxiety in social life and among religious communities. as a result, it will lead to a disease called hiv/aids, for which there is still no cure.
