Abstract

Supervisi akademik merupakan salah satu supervisi yang seharusnya dilaksanakan oleh kepala madrasah untuk meningkatkan kinerja guru, karena guru adalah orang yang berhubungan langsung dalam proses belajar mengajar. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk (1) mengetahui, mendeskripsikan dan menganalisis perencanaan, pelaksanaan, serta evaluasi dan tindak lanjut supervisi akademik kepala madrasah dalam meningkatkan kinerja guru di MI Keji Kabupaten Semarang, dan (2) mengetahui, mendeskripsikan dan menganalisis faktor-faktor yang memengaruhi supervisi akademik kepala madrasah dalam meningkatkan kinerja guru di MI Keji Kabupaten Semarang. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode deskriptif dengan pendekatan kualitatif. Data dikumpulkan dengan wawancara dan dokumentasi. Pengujian keabsahan data menggunakan kredibilitas, transferabilitas, depenabilitas, dan konfirmabilitas. Sedangkan proses teknik analisis data dilakukan dengan tiga tahapan yaitu; reduksi data, penyajian data, dan penarikan kesimpulan/ verifikasi.
Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa supervisi akademik dilaksanakan oleh kepala madrasah MI Keji Kabupaten Semarang mulai dari perencanaan, pelaksanaan, evaluasi dan tindak lanjut. Perencanaan dan pelaksanaan supervisi akademik dilaksanakan dalam dua siklus, yaitu siklus semester pertama dan kedua. Sedangkan evaluasi dan tindak lanjut diberikan kepada guru-guru yang belum bisa menyelesaikan tugasnya seperti memetakan KD, membuat RPP atau PPI, menggunakan metode atau media yang tepat, dan lain sebagainya. Berdasarkan perolehan data, guru-guru merasa sangat terbantu dengan supervisi yang dilakukan oleh kepala madrasah. Tindak lanjut supervisi akademik diberikan oleh kepala madrasah, guru senior yang, nara sumber, atau ahli. Adapun faktor-faktor yang memengaruhi supervisi akademik meliputi faktor internal dan faktor eksternal.

ABSTRACT:

Madrasah principal’s academic supervision is one of supervision that should be done by madrasah principal to improve teachers’ performance, because the teachers whom are directly connected in teaching learning process This research aims to (1) know, describe, and analyse planning, implementation, evaluation and following up of madrasah principal academic supervision in improving teachers’ performance in Keji Islamic Elementary School of Semarang Region, and (2) know, describe, and analyse the factors which are influence the madrasah principal academic supervision in improving teachers’ performance in Keji Islamic Elementary School of Semarang Region. This research used descriptive method with qualitative approach. The data collection are interview and documentation. The checking of correcting data used credibility, transferability, depenability, and confirmability. Whereas the process of data analysis technic done by three steps that are; data reduction, data display, and conclusion drawing.
Research finding shows that academic supervision were done by MI Keji’s principal, it starts from planning, actuating, evaluating, and following up. The planning and actuating of academic supervision were done by two cycles those are cycle for the first and second semester. Whereas the evaluating and following up were given to the teachers whom are can finish their duties yet like the mapping of KD, making RPP or PPI, using the right method or media, etc. According to data findings, the teachers feel helpful with the madrasah principal’s academic supervision. The following up of academic supervision were given by madrasah principal, the teacher senior, recource person from Semarang Yogasmara Autism Foundation, or expert from Semarang Religious Training Center. The factors that influence academic supervision those are internal and external factors.
