Abstract
Latar Belakang: Penyelenggaraan makanan di pesantren harus memperhatikan kecukupan energi dan kualitas makanan yang disediakan. Kualitas menu makanan yang dikonsumsi dapat mempengaruhi status gizi seseorang. Berdasarkan hasil observasi awal diketahui masih terdapat santri putri Pondok Pesatren Roudlotul Jannah Kudus yang kurang menyukai beberapa sajikan menu makanan pondok, sehingga santri lebih sering membeli makanan di luar pondok.
Tujuan: mengkaji hubungan antara kepuasan mutu hidangan dan tingkat kecukupan energi dengan status gizi santri putri pada Pondok Pesantren Roudlotul Jannah Kudus.
Metode: Metode penelitian ini menggunakan desain cross sectional dengan jumlah responden sebanyak 88 santri putri pesantren Pondok Pesantren Roudlotul Jannah Kudus, diambil menggunakan simple random sampling. Pengambilan data dilakukan dengan mengukur tinggi badan dan berat badan untuk menilai status gizi. Kuesioner untuk mengukur kepuasan mutu hidangan dan food recall 4x24 jam untuk mengetahui tingkat kecukupan gizi. Data dianalisis menggunakan uji Chi Square dan uji Kruskal-Wallis.
Hasil: Status gizi pada sebagian besar responden adalah baik. Sebagian besar santri menunjukkan sikap puas terhadap mutu hidangan pondok pesantren. Kecukupan energi santri putri dalam kategori normal. Hasil uji statistik hubungan antara kepuasan mutu hidangan dengan status gizi santri putri diperoleh nilai p=0,202. Artinya, kepuasan mutu hidangan tidak memiliki hubungan yang signifikan dengan status gizi santri putri. Hubungan antara tingkat kecukupan energi dengan status gizi santri putri adalah p=0,213. Artinya, tingkat kecukupan energi tidak memiliki hubungan yang signifikan dengan status gizi santri putri.
Kesimpulan: Tidak terdapat hubungan antara kepuasan mutu hidangan dengan status gizi santri putri. Tidak terdapat hubungan antara tingkat kecukupan energi dengan status gizi santri putri.
ABSTRACT:
Background: The provision of food in Islamic boarding schools must pay attention to the adequacy of energy and the quality of the food provided. The quality of the food consumed can affect a person's nutritional status. Based on the results of initial observations, it is known that there are still female students of the Roudlotul Jannah Kudus Islamic Boarding School who do not like some of the cottage food menus, so that students often buy food outside the cottage.
Objective: to examine the relationship between food quality satisfaction and energy adequacy level with the nutritional status of female students at the Roudlotul Jannah Islamic Boarding School in Kudus.
Methods: This research method uses a cross sectional design with the number of respondents as many as 88 female students of the Roudlotul Jannah Kudus Islamic Boarding School, taken using simple random sampling. Data were collected by measuring height and weight to assess nutritional status. Questionnaire to measure food quality satisfaction and food recall 4x24 hours to determine the level of nutritional adequacy. Data were analyzed using Chi Square test and Kruskal-Wallis test.
Results: The nutritional status of most of the respondents was good. Most of the students showed a satisfied attitude towards the quality of the boarding school food. The energy sufficiency of female students is in the normal category. The results of the statistical test of the relationship between food quality satisfaction and the nutritional status of female students were p=0.202. This means that food quality satisfaction does not have a significant relationship with the nutritional status of female students. The relationship between the level of energy adequacy with the nutritional status of female students is p=0.213. This means that the level of energy adequacy does not have a significant relationship with the nutritional status of female students.
Conclusion: There is no relationship between food quality satisfaction and the nutritional status of female students. There is no relationship between the level of energy adequacy with the nutritional status of female students.
