Abstract

Pokok permasalahan dalam penelitian ini adalah bagaimana potensi pasar tradisional dalam peningkatkan ekonomi masyarakat dan bagaimanakah perilaku para pedagang di pasar tradisional mangkang dalam perspektif ekonomi islam.
Jenis penelitian ini merupakan penelitian kualitatif yang berlokasi di pasar tradisional mangkang. Sumber yang diperoleh dari penelitian ini yaitu sumber data primer yang diperoleh dari para pedagang dan sumber sekunder yang diperoleh dari berbagai literatur. Metode pengumpulan data meliputi observasi, wawancara dan dokumentasi untuk selanjutnya data yang telah diperoleh digambarkan dan dijabarkan mengenai objek sesuai dengan fakta di lapangan.
Hasil dari penelitian ini menunjukkan pasar tradisional mangkang berpotensi dalam meningkatkan ekonomi pedagang. Adapun potensi yang pertama harga yang murah dan terjangkau oleh masyarakat, kedua produk yang dijual belikan lebih bervariasi, ketiga eksistensi pasar tradisional mangkang yang tetap bertahan ditengah persaingan dengan pasar modern dimana pemerintah melakukan pengawasan harga, menjaga kualitas barang, eksistensi lainnya membuka lapangan pekerjaan bagi masyarakat sekitar.
Dalam hal perilaku pedagang di pasar tradisional mangkang, mayoritas para pedagang telah mampu menerapkan aspek-aspek bisnis sesuai dengan etika bisnis rasulullah yang meliputi Shiddiq (penyampaian kondisi barang, penetapan ukuran barang yang dijual), Amanah (menepati janji saat berdagang, mempertanggung jawabkan barang dagangan), Tabligh (menjaga loyalitas pembeli, bersikap ramah kepada pembeli), Fathanah (melakukan pencatatan transaksi).

ABSTRACT:
The main problem in this research is how the potential of traditional markets in improving the community's economy and how the behavior of traditional market players is absent from the perspective of Islamic economics.
This type of research is a qualitative research located in the traditional market of Mangkang. The sources obtained from this study are primary data sources obtained from traders and secondary sources obtained from various literatures. Methods of data collection, interviews and documentation to further obtain data and observations about the object in accordance with the facts in the field.
The results of this study indicate that the traditional mangkang market may increase economic actors. As for the first, the prices are cheap and affordable by the community, the second product that is traded and sold is more varied, the third is the existence of the traditional mangkang market that persists in the midst of competition with modern markets where the government monitors prices, maintains the quality of goods, the existence of other communities opens up jobs for around .
In terms of the behavior of traders in the traditional mangkang market, the main actors have been able to apply business aspects in accordance with the ethics of the Prophet which includes Siddiq (condition of goods, determination of the size of goods sold), Amanah (keep promises when selling, is responsible for merchandise), Tabligh (maintaining buyer loyalty, friendly to buyers), Fathanah (recording transactions).
