Setiap individu pasti memiliki cita-cita dan impian di masa depan, dalam mewujudkan cita-cita tersebut tentu memerlukan perencanaan. Ketika merencanakan karir, perlu adanya kematangan dalam memilih jalan karir. Namun terkadang masih banyak siswa yang merasa bingung dan tidak tahu tentang jalan karir apa yang akan diambil setelah lulus dari Sekolah Menengah Atas/Kejuruan. Beberapa faktor yang mempengaruhi hal tersebut adalah faktor internal yang berasal dari dalam diri individu, dan faktor eksternal yang disebabkan karena pengaruh lingkungan, teman,dan keluarga terutama orang tua. Penelitian dilakukan guna mengetahui hubungan persepsi terhadap harapan orang tua dengan kematangan rencana pemilihan karir pada siswa SMK kelas XII. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian korelasi dengan menggunakan teknik pengumpulan data berupa skala persepsi terhadap harapan orang tua dan skala kematangan rencana pemilihan karir. Subjek penelitian berjumlah 50 dari jumlah populasi sebanyak 234 melalui teknik probability sampling. Uji validitas dan reliabilitas menggunakan pearson product moment dan rumus Alpha cronbach. Hasil uji reliabilitas pada variabel persepsi terhadap harapan orang tua menunjukan nilai α sebesar 0.919. Sedangkan hasil uji reliabilitas pada variabel kematangan rencana pemilihan karir menunjukan nilai α sebesar 0.871 sehingga instrumen pada kedua variabel dapat dikatakan reliabel. Selanjutnya dilakukan perhitungan uji hipotesis dengan menggunakan teknik analisis Kolmogorov-Smirnov, didapatkan nilai signifikansi pada penelitian ini sebesar 0.594 > 0.05. Dilihat dari hasil perhitungan uji hipotesis dengan menggunakan regresi linearitas data, menghasilkan bahwa data terdapat hubungan yang signifikan antara persepsi terhadap harapan orang tua dengan kematangan rencana pemilihan karir pada siswa SMK kelas XII.

ABSTRACT:
Every individual must have ideals and dreams in the future, in realizing these ideals of course requires planning. When planning a career, it is necessary to have maturity in choosing a career path. However, sometimes there are still many students who feel confused and do not know about what career path to take after graduating from High/Vocational High School. Some of the factors that influence this are internal factors that come from within the individual, and external factors caused by the influence of the environment, friends, and family, especially parents. The study was conducted to determine the relationship between perceptions of parents' expectations with the maturity of career choice plans in class XII SMK students. This research is a correlation study using data collection techniques in the form of a perception scale of parents' expectations and a maturity scale of career choice plans. The research subjects were 50 out of a total population of 234 through probability sampling technique. Test the validity and reliability using Pearson product moment and Alpha Cronbach formula. The results of the reliability test on the perception variabel of parents' expectations showed a value of 0.919. While the results of the reliability test on the maturity variabel of the career selection plan show a value of 0.871 so that the instruments on both variabels can be said to be reliable. Furthermore, the calculation of the hypothesis test using the Kolmogorov-Smirnov analysis technique, obtained a significance value in this study of 0.594> 0.05. Judging from the results of the calculation of hypothesis testing using data linearity regression, it resulted that the data had a significant relationship between perceptions of parents' expectations and the maturity of career choice plans for class XII students of SMK.
