Abstract
Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menguji secara empiris pengaruh dukungan keluarga dan kecerdasan emosi terhadap work-life balance karyawan wanita. Subjek penelitian ini terdiri dari 135 karyawan wanita PT. Elegant Textile Industry. Pengambilan sampel dilakukan dengan teknik purposive sampling. Instrumen penelitian yang digunakan adalah skala work-life balance, skala dukungan keluarga dan skala kecerdasan emosi. Data penelitian dianalisis menggunakan analisis regresi linear berganda. Hasil penelitian menunjukan Nilai F Hitung 51,505 > F tabel 3,06 dan nilai signifikansi 0,000 (p<0,05) bahwa dukungan keluarga dan kecerdasan emosi berpengaruh secara simultan terhadap work-life balance karyawan wanita dengan sumbangan efektif R square 0.430 atau 43.0%. Secara parsial dukungan keluarga dan kecerdasan emosi masing-masing signifikan berpengaruh positif terhadap work-life balance karyawan wanita. Sumbangan efektif dukungan keluarga terhadap work-life Balance secara parsial adalah sebesar 0.1662 atau 16.62%. Sedangkan sumbangan efektif kecerdasan emosi terhadap work-life Balance secara parsial adalah sebesar 0.2717 atau 27.17%.
ABSTRACT:
This study aims to empirically examine the effect of family support and emotional intelligence on the work-life balance of female employees. The subjects of this study consisted of 135 female employees of PT. Elegant Textile Industry. Sampling was done by the purposive sampling technique. The research instrument used was the work-life balance scale, the family support scale and the emotional intelligence scale. The research data were analyzed using multiple linear regression analysis. The results showed that the calculated F value was 51,505 > F table 3.06 and a significance value of 0.000 (p <0.05) that family support and emotional intelligence had a simultaneous effect on employee work-life balance with an effective contribution of R square 0.430 or 43.0%. Partially, family support and emotional intelligence have a significant positive effect on the work-life balance of female employees. The effective contribution of family support to Balance's work-life partially is 0.1662 or 16.62%. While the effective contribution of emotional intelligence to work-life balance partially is 0.2717 or 27.17%.
