Abstract

Perkembangan sosial pada usia remaja didominasi oleh pengaruh teman sebaya dengan pembuatan kelompok sosial dan juga dominasi dari kebutuhan cinta dan rasa akan memiliki menyebabkan remaja mengikuti apa yang dilakukan oleh teman sebayanya khususnya game online. Menjamurnya game online memberikan dampak signifikan bagi dunia pendidikan, terlebih di masa pandemi seperti ini yang menjadikan siswa memiliki intensitas penggunaan gadget yang lebih tinggi dan juga proses pembelajaran daring yang mengutamakan kemandirian bergantung pada self regulation siswa untuk mencapai tujuan dari pembelajaran. Sehingga penelitian ini ingin menguji secara empiris hubungan intensitas bermain game online dan sel regulation siswa MTs NU 01 Gringsing Batang. Hipotesis yang diajukan dalam penelitian ini adalah adanya hubungan antara intensitas bermain game online dan self regulation dengan motivasi belajar siswa MTs NU 01 Gringsing Batang. Adapun sampel penelitian ini berjumlah 148 siswa MTs NU 01 Gringsing. Alat ukur penelitian ini menggunakan tiga skala yaitu skala intensitas bermain game online, skala self regulation, dan skala motivasi belajar. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif. Metode analisis data menggunakan korelasi linier berganda, analisis deskriptif, uji asumsi klasik, danuji hipotesis.Hasil dari penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa nilai signifikansi p sebesar 0,000 dan nilai koefisien korelasi sebesar0,751yang artinya terdapat hubungan antara intensitas bermain game online dan self regulation dengan motivasi belajar siswa MTs NU 01 Gringsing.

ABSTRACT:
Social development in adolescence is dominated by the influence of peers in creating social groups and the need for love or belonging which will cause these adolescents to follow what their peers are doing, especially online games.The rise of online games has a significant impact on the world of education, especially during this pandemic which increases the intensity of the use of gadgets by students and also the online learning process itself which prioritizes independence depending on student self regulation to achieve learning goals.This study wanted to empirically examine the relationship between online game intensity and student self regulation at MTs NU 01 Gringsing Batang. The hypothesis proposed in this study was that there is a relationship between the intensity of playing online games and self-regulation with students' learning motivation at MTs NU 01 Gringsing Batang.The sample in this study was 148 students of MTs NU 01 Gringsing. The measuring instrument of this study used three scales; the intensity scale of playing online games, the self regulation scale, and the learning motivation scale. This study used a quantitative approach. The data analysis method used multiple linear correlation, descriptive analysis, classical assumption test, and hypothesis testing.The results of this study indicated that the significance value of p is 0.000 and the correlation coefficient is 0.751, which means that there is a relationship between the intensity of playing online games and selfregulation with the learning motivation of MTs NU 01 Gringsing students.
