Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menguji secara empiris hubungan kecedasan emosional dengan resiliensi pada siswa kelas XII SMK Ma’arif Kyai Gading Desa Candisari Kecamatan Mranggen Kabupaten Demak. Hipotesis yang diajukan peneliti adalah adanya hubungan antara kecerdasan emosional dengan resiliensi pada siswa kelas XII SMK Ma’arif Kyai Gading Desa Candisari Kecamatan Mranggen Kabupaten Demak. Sampel pada penelitian ini ialah 42 siswa kelas tiga dari dua jurusan yaitu Upaya Perjalanan Wisata dengan jumlah 20 siswa dan jurusan Perawatan Sosial dengan jumlah 22 siswa. Alat ukur dalam penelitian ini menggunakan dua skala yaitu, skala kecerdasan emosional dan skala resiliensi. Metode analisis data menggunakan analisis korelasi product moment pearson dengan bantuan SPSS versi 21.0 for windows. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan terdapat hubungna positif antara kecerdasan emosional dengan resiliensi pada sekolah tersebut dengan hasil r = 0,386, p = 0,012 <0,05 yang dapat disimpulkan bahwa semakin tinggi kecerdasan emosional maka semakin tinggi pula resiliensinya dan begitu sebaliknya.

ABSTRACT:

This study aims to empirically examine the relationship between emotional intelligence and resilience in class XII students of SMK Ma'arif Kyai Gading, Candisari Village, Mranggen District, Demak Regency. The hypothesis proposed by the researcher is that there is a relationship between emotional intelligence and resilience in class XII students of SMK Ma'arif Kyai Gading, Candisari Village, Mranggen District, Demak Regency. The sample in this study were 42 third grade students from two majors, namely Travel Efforts with a total of 20 students and Social Care majors with a total of 22 students. The measuring instrument in this study uses two scales, namely, the emotional intelligence scale and the resilience scale. The data analysis method uses Pearson product moment correlation analysis with the help of SPSS version 21.0 for windows. The results showed that there was a positive relationship between emotional intelligence and resilience at the school with the results of r = 0.386, p = 0.012 <0.05 which can be concluded that the higher the emotional intelligence, the higher the resilience and vice versa.
