Abstract
Pemilihan Umum di Indonesia menjadi hal yang sangat penting dalam menggerakkan tatanan negara yang demokratis. Pada tahun 2020 Pemilihan Kepala Daerah berbeda dengan tahun-tahun sebelumnya pada dikarenakan Pilkada 2020 dilaksanakan pada masa pandemi covid-19. Covid-19 merupakan virus yang sangat berbahaya dengan penularan yang sangat cepat hingga dapat menimbulkan kematian. Apakah dengan adanya virus covid-19 akan mempengaruhi partisipasi masyarakat di dalam Partisipasi Politik yakni Pemilihan Kepala Daerah. Oleh sebab itu penulis tertatik untuk melakukan penelitian yang berjudul “Partisipasi Pemilih Pada Pilkada Serentak 2020 Di Masa Pandemi Covid-19 (Studi di Kecamatan Sayung, Kabupaten Demak) dari judul tersebut terdapat dua rumusan masalah yakni Partisipasi Pemilih Pilkada Serentak 2020 di Masa Pandemi Covid-19 dan Fakor-faktor apa sajakah yang mempengaruhi Partisipasi Pemilih Pilkada Serentak 2020 di Masa Pandemi Covid-19.
Skripsi yang berjudul “Partisipasi Pemilih Pada Pilkada Serentak 2020 Pada Masa Pandemi Covid-19 (Studi di Kecamatan Sayung, Kabupaten Demak)” adalah hasil penelitian lapangan menggunakan metode penelitian kualitatif naratif. Teknik pengumpulan data melalui observasi, wawancara dan dokumentasi yang kemudian di analisis menggunakan analisis kualitatif naratif.
Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan partisipasi pemilih pilkada 2020 di Kecamatan Sayung pada masa pandemi covid-19 yakni 78,08% atau 58.104 jiwa yang terbagi atas 56.436 suara sah dan 1.668 suara tidak sah dengan jumlah DPT (Daftar Pemilih Tetap) Kecamatan Sayung yakni 74.097 jiwa. Sedangkan faktor-faktor yang mempengaruhi partisipasi pemilih pilkada 2020 pada masa pandemi covid-19 yakni faktor kesadaran politik, faktor kesibukan sehari-hari atau kerja, faktor bencana banjir rob, faktor money politic, dan faktor takut covid-19.
ABSTRACT:
General elections in Indonesia are very important in moving the democratic state order. In 2020 the Regional Head Election was different from previous years because the 2020 Regional Head Election was held during the Covid-19 pandemic. Covid-19 is a very dangerous virus with a very fast transmission that can cause death. Will the Covid-19 virus affect public participation in Political Participation, namely the Regional Head Election. Therefore, the author is interested in conducting a study entitled "Voter Participation in the 2020 Simultaneous Regional Elections during the Covid-19 Pandemic (Study in Sayung District, Demak Regency)” from that title, there are two problem formulations, namely Voter Participation in the 2020 Simultaneous Regional Elections in the Covid-19 Pandemic Period. 19 and what factors affect Voter Participation in the 2020 Simultaneous Regional Elections in the Covid-19 Pandemic Period.
The thesis entitled "Voter Participation in the 2020 Simultaneous Regional Head Elections During the Covid-19 Pandemic (Study in Sayung District, Demak Regency)" is the result of field research using narrative qualitative research methods. Data collection techniques are through observation, interviews and documentation which are then analyzed using narrative qualitative analysis.
The results of this study show that voter participation in the 2020 regional elections in Sayung District during the covid-19 pandemic was 78.08% or 58,104 people, which was divided into 56,436 valid votes and 1,668 invalid votes with the number of DPT (Permanent Voters List) in Sayung District, namely 74,097 people. While the factors that affect voter participation in the 2020 regional elections during the COVID-19 pandemic are political awareness factors, competition activities factors, daily busyness factors, tidal flood disaster factors, money politics factors, political education factors, and Covid-19 factors.
