Abstract

Latar Belakang: Masa remaja adalah masa transisi antara masa kanak-kanak menuju masa dewasa, dan melibatkan perubahan fisik maupun emosional, seiring dengan meningkatnya kemandirian dan semakin banyaknya pilihan pribadi. Pilhan makan remaja akan berdampak pada asupan dan status gizi mereka. Terdapatnya hubungan frekuensi konsumsi junk food terhadap kejadian gizi lebih disebabkan karena pola makan yang salah. Kejadian gizi lebih pada anak yang sering mengkonsumsi junk food berisiko dua kali lipat dibandingkan anak yang jarang mengonsumsi junk food. Komponen dari sosial ekonomi terkait dengan status gizi meliputi pendapatan dari orang tua, daya beli pada bahan pangan (pangsa pengeluaran pangan), dan daya beli pada non pangan (pangsa pengeluaran non pangan) dapat mempengaruhi pola makan remaja.
Tujuan: Mengetahui hubungan pangsa pengeluaran pangan, konsumsi Junk Food, dan status gizi pada remaja SMP Negeri 16 Semarang
Metode: Penelitian analitik observasi dengan desain cross-sectional yang dilaksanakan di SMP Negeri 16 Semarang dengan menggunakan pengukuran IMT/U untuk mengetahui status gizi. Kuesioner serta form FFQ guna mengetahui pangsa pengeluaran pangan dan tingkat konsumsi Junk Food. Pengujian variabel dengan analisis bivariat menggunakan uji Eta.
Hasil: Diketahui adanya hubungan yang bermakna antara pangsa pengeluaran pangan terhadap konsumsi Junk Food yang ditandai dengan (p=0,045). Nilai value dari kedua variabel tersebut senilai 0,247 dengan kategori berpengaruh rendah dalam tingkat konsumsi Junk Food. Konsumsi Junk Food terhadap status gizi memiliki nilai (p=0,001) menunjukan adanya hubungan antara tingkat konsumsi Junk Food dengan status gizi
Kesimpulan: Terdapat hubungan yang bermakna antara pangsa pengeluaran pangan, konsumsi Junk Food, dan status gizi

ABSTRACT:
Background: Adolescence is a period of transition from childhood to adulthood, and involves physical and emotional changes, along with increasing independence and increasing personal choices. Teenagers' food choices will have an impact on their intake and nutritional status. There is a relationship between the frequency of consumption of Junk Food on the incidence of overnutrition due to the wrong diet. The incidence of overnutrition in children who often consume junk food is twice as risky as children who rarely consume junk food. Socio-economic components related to nutritional status include income from parents, purchasing power on food (share of food expenditure), and purchasing power of non-food (share of non-food expenditure) can affect adolescent eating patterns.
Objective: To find out the relationship between share of food expenditure, consumption of junk food, and nutritional status of adolescents at SMP Negeri 16 Semarang
Methods: An analytical observational study with a cross-sectional design conducted at SMP Negeri 16 Semarang using BMI/U measurements to determine nutritional status. Questionnaire and FFQ form to determine the share of food expenditure and consumption level of Junk Food. Testing the variables with bivariate analysis using the Eta test.
Results: It is known that there is a significant relationship between the share of food expenditure and consumption of Junk Food which is indicated by (p = 0.045). The value of the two variables is 0.247 with a category that is quite influential in the level of consumption of Junk Food. Junk Food consumption on nutritional status has a value (p = 0.001) indicating a relationship between the level of Junk Food consumption and nutritional status
Conclusion: There is a significant relationship between the share of food expenditure, consumption of Junk Food, and nutritional status
