Abstract
Pandemi Covid-19 memberikan berbagai dampak kepada masyarakat luas. Hal ini karena penyebaran virus yang sangat mudah, maka berbagai upaya dilakukan untuk memutus penyebaran virus, termasuk mengurangi penggunaan uang kertas. E-wallet yang merupakan dompet digital yang daat berfungsi sebagai alat transaksi berbelanja banyak orang. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menguji hubunagan atara pengaruh pandemi Covid-19 dan minat belanja mahasiswa terhadap penggunaan e-wallet ShopeePay.
Penelitian ini menggunakan kuesioner dengan yang disebar kepada mahasiswa FEBI (Fakultas Ekonomi dan Bisnis Islam) yang menggunakan e-wallet ShopeePay yang berjumlah 96 responden. Pendekatan yang digunakan penelitian ini adalah metode kualitatif. Hasil penelitian ini menjelaskan bahwa variabel X1 pademi Covid-19 dan variabel X2 minat belanja mahasiswa berpengaruh signifikan terhadap variabel Y penggunaan e-wallet ShopeePay.
Hasil olah data menggunakan aplikasi SPSS nilai F hitung 14,961 > f tabel 3,09 dengan nilai signifikasnsi 0,003 < 0,5. Adapun hasil uji t kepada seluruh variabel X menyatakan bahwa selurh variabel X berpengaruh positif terhadap variabel Y penggunaan e-wallet ShopeePay, dibuktikan variabel X1 pandemi Covid-19 mendapat nilai t hitung 2,259 > 1,985 t tabel dengan nilai signifikansi 0,026 > 0,05, dan variabel X2 minat belanja mahasiswa mendapay nilai t hitung 3,099 > 1.985 t tabel dengan nilai signifikansi 0,003 < 0,05.
ABSTRACT:
The COVID-19 pandemic has had various impacts on society at large. Due to the very easy spread of the virus, various efforts were made to stop the spread of the virus, including reducing the use of paper money. So there is an e-wallet which is a digital wallet that can function as a shopping transaction tool for many people. This study aims to examine the relationship between the influence of the Covid-19 pandemic and student spending interest in using the ShopeePay e-wallet.
The researcher used a questionnaire by distributing several statements filled out by FEBI (Faculty of Islamic Economics and Business) students who used the ShopeePay e-wallet. The researcher in determining the population sample to test the data uses the Simple Random Sampling method, while in determining the number of samples, the researcher uses the Slovin formula to obtain a sample of 96 respondents. Researchers in data analysis using descriptive analysis which explains the results of calculations if the data using the SPSS application.
The results of this study explain that the X1 variable during the Covid-19 pandemic and the X2 variable interest in student spending have a significant effect on the Y variable using the ShopeePay e-wallet. The results of data processing using the SPSS application, the calculated F value is 14,961> f table 3.09 with a significance value of 0.003 <0.5. The results of the t test for all X variables stated that all X variables had a positive effect on Y variable using ShopeePay e-wallet, it was proven that the X1 Covid-19 pandemic variable got a t value of 2,259 > 1,985 t table with a significance value of 0.026 > 0.05, and variable X2 student spending interest has a t-count value of 3.099 > 1.985 t table with a significance value of 0.003 <0.05.
