Abstract
Jual beli pakaian bekas atau biasa disebut Thrifting sudah ada sejak lama. Penyebaran thrifting masuk ke Indonesia mulai dari Kalimantan dan Sumatera karena daerah itu berdekatan dengan negara lain. Pada awal masuknya penyebaran Covid-19 di seluruh dunia, eksistensi thrifting tetap masih tinggi. Terbukti dengan adanya dampak pandemi Covid-19 justru itu menjadi salah satu peluang usaha untuk memulai thrifting dengan memanfaatkan media sosial. Namun pada praktiknya dalam jual beli online banyak terjadi ketidaksesuaian dengan prinsip dan nilai - nilai ekonomi Islam dimana salah satu pihak antara penjual atau pembeli dirugikan karena deskripsi barang yang tidak sesuai dari pihak penjual atau gagal bayar yang dilakukan oleh pembeli.
Penelitian ini mengambil objek penelitian di kota Semarang tepatnya pada tiga toko yaitu: Ridersecond, Smg.secondstore, dan Timohosecondstore. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode kualitatif.
Hasil penelitian dari ketiga thrift-shop ini, dalam praktik jual beli online memiliki cara yang sama baik dalam akad maupun cara pembayarannya, namun Smg.secondstore juga menggunakan praktik jualan online yang berbeda, dengan memanfaatkan fitur live streaming yang ada pada fitur Instagram. Dilihat dari sudut pandang ekonomi Islam thrif-shop menerapkan nilai – nilai ekonomi Islam antara lain: nilai kepemilikan, nilai keadilan, nilai keseimbangan, nilai kebebasan, dan nilai kebersamaan. Hal tersebut sudah sesuai dengan yang dianjurkan semestinya dalam ekonomi Islam.
ABSTRACT:
Buying and selling used clothes or commonly called Thrifting has been around for a long time. The spread of thrifting entered Indonesia starting from Kalimantan and Sumatra because the area was close to other countries. At the beginning of the spread of Covid-19 around the world, the existence of thrifting remained high. As evidenced by the impact of the Covid-19 pandemic, it is actually one of the business opportunities to start thrifting by utilizing social media. However, in practice in online buying and selling, there are many inconsistency with Islamic economic principles and values where one of the parties between the seller or the buyer is harmed because of the inappropriate description of the goods on the part of the seller or default made by the buyer.
This study took the object of research in the city of Semarang precisely in three stores, namely: Ridersecond, Smg.secondstore, and Timohosecondstore. This research uses qualitative methods.
The results of the research from these three thrift-shops, in the practice of buying and selling online have the same method both in the contract and the payment method, but Smg.secondstore also uses different online selling practices, by utilizing the live streaming feature in the Instagram feature. Viewed from the point of view of Islamic economics, thrif-shop applies Islamic economic values, including: ownership values, justice values, balance values, freedom values, and togetherness values. This is in accordance with what should be advocated in islamic economics.
