Abstract

ABSTRACT:
Learning motivation is the overall driving force within the student that gives rise to learning activities, which ensures the continuity of learning activities and gives direction to learning activities, so that the goals desired by the learning subject can be achieved. Learning motivation can also be explained as an impulse that arises from within the student (intrinsic) and from outside the student (extrinsic) to do something. The loss of student learning motivation when conducting Distance Learning (PJJ) tried to be returned with Face-to-Face Learning (PTM) during the reopening school period which was carried out face-to-face during the pandemic. Theimprovement of student learning motivation with ptm masa reopening is also carried out in the studyof Islamic Religious Education.
This study is a quantitative and descriptive qualitative research (mixed method), the researcher combines two methods, namely quantitative and qualitative because the data is presented in the form of numbers and described in the form of narrative text. The number of respondents as many as 150 people. The data collection tool uses a questionnaire, the analysis tool uses linear regression with SPSS 26 tools. The results show that there is a relationship between learning motivation and learning in religious education which is indicated by a sig value of 0.016 (< 0.05). The results also show that the roles of teachers and parents must complement each other in increasing learning motivation.
