Abstract

Pondok pesantren merupakan lembaga pendidikan Islam yang ada di Indonesia. Pondok pesantren memiliki tanggung jawab yang sama dengan institusi pendidikan lainnya di dalam bersama-sama mencegah dan mengantisipasi serta menanggulangi muncul dan merebaknya paham atau aliran keagamaan yang menyimpang yang berkembang di masyarakat. Adanya sikap radikalisme yang berujung pada terorisme perlu dijadikan perhatian khusus terutama umat Islam, dengan cara mencari solusi upaya apa saja yang dapat menangkal paham-paham keagamaan yang radikal tersebut menyebar. Pesantren merupakan salah satu instansi keagamaan yang menjadi harapan besar untuk menangkal penyebaran paham-paham yang radikal. Dalam hal ini peneliti ingin membahas mengenai proses konstruksi sosial makna radikalisme agama di pondok pesantren Al-Ishlah dan upaya pondok pesantren Al-Ishlah dalam menangkal radikalisme agama di kalangan santri.
Penelitian ini menggunakan metode penelitian kualitatif dengan pendekatan deskriptif, sedangkan pengumpulan data diperoleh dengan observasi, wawancara, dan dokumentasi yang dilakukan di pondok pesantren Al-Ishlah. Dalam penelitian penulis menggunakan Teori Konstruksi Sosial Berger dan Luckmann dengan menggunakan 3 konsep dialektis pembentukan makna radikalisme bagi para santri.
Berdasarkan penelitian yang dilakukan, ditemukan bahwa pembentukan makna radikalisme pada santri didasari pada pengetahuan subjektif mereka tentang radikalisme yang didapat dari cadangan pengetahuan santri yang didapatkan dari banyak hal dalam kehidupan santri dimana santri diberi pengetahuan mengenai ajaran agama sesuai Ahlussunsah Waljamaah. Sehingga santri dapat mentransfer kembali ilmu mereka yang di dapat dari pondok pesantren kepada masyarakat luas. Terdapat 4 peranan pondok pesantren Al-Ishlah dalam mencegah muncul dan maraknya aliran keagamaan yang menyimpang. Pertama, strategi pembelajarn pesantren yang moderat. Kedua, kyai sebagai teladan santri. Ketiga, manjemen kurikulum pondok pesantren. Keempat, penguatan aturan pondok pesantren. Selain itu, salah satu upaya pondok pesantren menangkal radikalisme agama yaitu dengan melalui pembinaan kerukunan umat beragama. FKUB (Forum Kerukunan antar Umat Beragama) menjadi wadah yang dapat memfasilitasi komunikasi antar umat beragama agat tidak ada lagi dominasi agama tertentu.

ABSTRACT:
Islamic boarding schools are Islamic educational institutions in Indonesia. Islamic boarding schools have the same responsibilities as other education institutions institutions in jointly preventing, anticipating and cope with the emergence and spread of religious beliefs or schools that deviance that develops in society. There is an attitude of radicalism that lead to terrorism needs to be given special attention, especially Muslims, by finding solutions to any efforts that can counteract the notions of radical religion spread. Islamic boarding school is one of the religious institutions that become a big hope to prevent the spread of radical ideas. In this case, the researcher wants to discuss about the process of social construction of the meaning of religious radicalism in the Al-Ishlah Islamic boarding school and the efforts of the Al-Ishlah Islamic boarding school in countering religious radicalism in Indonesia among students.
This study uses qualitative research methods with descriptive approach, while data collection was obtained by observation, interviews, and documentation conducted at the Al-Ishlah Islamic boarding school. In this study the author uses Berger's Social Construction Theory and Luckmann by using 3 dialectical concepts of meaning formation radicalism for students.
Based on the research conducted, it was found that the formation of the meaning of radicalism in students is based on their subjective knowledge about radicalism obtained from the knowledge reserves of students who obtained from many things in the life of students where students are given knowledge of religious teachings according to Ahlussunsah Waljamaah. So the students can transfer their knowledge back from the boarding school to the wider community. There are 4 roles of Al-Ishlah Islamic boarding school in preventing the emergence and proliferation of religious sects that deviate. First, a moderate pesantren learning strategy. Second, kyai as a model student. Third, the management of the Islamic boarding school curriculum. Fourth, strengthening the rules of Islamic boarding schools. In addition, one of the efforts of Islamic boarding schools counteract religious radicalism, namely through fostering community harmony religious. FKUB (Forum Harmony among Religious People) is a forum that can facilitate communication between religious communities so there is no longer domination certain religion.
