Jihad practices committed by a person or group of people can not be separated from the meaning of the concept of jihad continues to be understanding, while the understanding jihad of someone got through the process of scientific genealogy. Community of Yayasan Prasasti Perdamaian (YPP) is a community that previously practiced the concept of jihad "qital" is then given to the concept of empowerment, such as entrepreneurs, ponds, or there is only sharing idea. With this background about the issues examined are: 1) How do the Fiqh Jihad genealogy of YPP community. 2) How does their understanding of the concept of fiqh jihad after joining the YPP community. Thus this study used a qualitative research method with research type of field research and historical sociological approach. Primary data source is data obtained from interviews about the genealogy of fiqh jihad with YPP community, while the secondary data obtained from jihad-related books. Data was collected through interviews and documentation, while the data analysis using qualitative data analysis. The result showed that the fiqh of jihad in the genealogy YPP community has two typologies: 1) the typology of obedience in the concept and implementation. In this Type the teacher gives his student teaching jihad to be a world view and actions carried out by al-jihad bi qital, as happened in the case of Y and M 2) the typology of conceptual obedience, but disagree in its implementation. As was the case with H. Typological differences are caused by factors that influence both the understanding and action patterns of social, economic, political, observance of the teacher, psychology and other sciences. Besides this, there are some characteristics that characterize the genealogical process of jihad fiqh, namely: 1) in the process of science teachers require students to wage jihad until the implementation level. 2) the doctrine is used as a reference rooted in the concept of jihad Abdullah Azam. 3) To arrive at the implementation level there is always a guide to guide, monitor and direct anyone who is ready to do jihad. 4) they have in common the view that the "jihad is qital" that must be done by a Muslim, either fard 'ain or kifayah. 5) qital jihad must directed the unbelievers against who persecute Muslims. Thus their understanding of fiqh jihad after members of the YPP is conceptually unchanged, Jihad is qital, whose laws can be fard ‘ain, or fard kifayah. However, its implementation has been changed by another jihad in such a business perspective, fish farmers and others by applying the concept of fard kifayah and defensive.
