Abstract
Makam dan Masjid Jami’ Sunan Abinawa di Desa Pekuncen Kecamatan Pegandon Kabupaten Kendal merupakan peninggalan Sunan Abinawa, Pada tahun 2013 arah kiblat makam dan masjid Jami’ Sunan Abinawa Kendal dilakukan pengecekan ulang menggunakan metode Rashdul Kiblat dengan menggunakan alat sederhana tongkat dan pengetahuan seadanya dari masyarakat setempat.
Jenis penelitian ini termasuk penelitian kualitatif yang tergolong pada penelitian lapangan (field Research) yaitu penelitian yang dilakukan dengan melakukan observasi langsung terhadap objek yang dikaji dilapangan. Sumber data penelitian berupa data primer yang diambil dari observasi dan wawancara kepada takmir masjid, pengunjung masjid dan masyarakat sekitar masjid. Sedangkan data sekunder berupa keterangan yang diperoleh dari pihak kedua, buku, tesis dan sumber-sumber lain yang dapat menunjang penelitian ini.
Adapun hasil dari penelitian penulis menggunakan metode azimuth kiblat dan Rasdhul Kiblat harian dengan alat bantu berupa mizwala dan theodolite. Penelitian dilakukan pada tanggal 25 Januari 2023, ditemukan arah kiblat Makam Sunan Abinawa kurang 5°35’77” dan arah kiblat Masjid Jami’ Sunan Abinawa kurang 5° 38’39,77” ke arah Barat. Mengarah ke Kota Al-Hulayfa As Sufla Provinsi Hail Arab Saudi dan mengenai pendapat tokoh agama tentang perubahan arah kiblat, tokoh agama sekitar Makam dan Masjid Jami’ Sunan Abinawa bersifat terbuka jika akan adanya perubahan arah kiblat pengetahuan
ABSTRACT :
The Jami' Sunan Abinawa Tomb and Mosque in Pekuncen Village, Pegandon District, Kendal Regency are relics of Sunan Abinawa. In 2013 the Qibla direction of the Jami' Sunan Abinawa Kendal Tomb and Mosque was re-checked using the Rashdul Qibla method using a simple stick and makeshift knowledge from the local community. .
This type of research includes qualitative research which is classified as field research, namely research conducted by direct observation of the object studied in the field. The research data source is primary data taken from observations and interviews with the takmir of the mosque, visitors to the mosque and the community around the mosque. While secondary data is in the form of information obtained from second parties, books, theses and other sources that can support this research.
As for the results of the author's research using the Qibla azimuth method and daily Qibla rasdhul with tools in the form of mizwala and theodolite. The research was conducted on January 25 2023, it was found that the Qibla direction of the Sunan Abinawa Tomb was less than 5°35'77" and the Qibla direction of the Jami' Sunan Abinawa Mosque was less than 5° 38'39.77" to the west. Heading to Al-Hulayfa As Sufla City, Hail Province, Saudi Arabia and regarding the opinion of religious leaders regarding changes in the Qibla direction, religious leaders around the Sunan Abinawa Tomb and Jami Mosque are open if there will be a change in the Qibla direction of knowledge.
