Abstract
Keberlangsungan sebuah tarekat sangat kuat dipengaruhi oleh keberadaan mursyidnya. Dalam hal ini, terdapat fenomena menarik di
TQN Al-‟Usmaniyyah Kedinding Surabaya Pasca KH. Achmad Asrori,
menjawab pertanyaan utama mengapa TQN Al-‟Usmaniyyah Pasca KH.
ABSTRACT:
The continuity of a sufi order is strongly influenced by the presence of its murshid. In this case, there is an interesting phenomenon at TQN al- Usmaniyah Kedinding Surabaya after KH. Achmad Asrori, because without the presence of the murshid the sufi order was able to continue and even grow until now. This study aims to answer the main question why TQN Al-'Usmaniyyah after KH. Achmad Asrori is still able to
continue even in the absence of a mursyid?. This problem is discussed through field research with a religious phenomenological approach. The research location is at the center of TQN Al-'Usmaniyyah in Kedinding Surabaya, Mayan Kediri, and Ngroto Grobogan.
The results of this study are TQN Al-'Usmaniyyah after KH. Achmad Asrori is still able to continue due to several things, namely: first, the existence of a charismatic rule (legal-rational-charismatic) which is always preserved through Kyai Asrori's livelihood; second, there is a deputy implementing the murshid authority; third, the existence of an organization that is well structured, managed by professionals, and has a strong source of funds; and fourth, the packaging of the teachings and the Majelis agrees with the needs of the community. The results of this study provide an academic contribution in the form of the discovery of a new concept about the continuity of the sufi order without a mursyid and a new concept of categorization of leadership authority. These findings criticize Sukamto's concept of continuity of religious organizations and Max Weber's categorization of leadership authority.
