Abstract

Isu moralitas peserta didik di era global banyak dibicarakan, namun belum banyak membicarakan pembentukan moralitas di lembaga pendidikan sarat agama. Tujuan penelitian ini untuk mengungkap pembentukan moralitas peserta didik MTs Mu’allimin Mu’allimat Rembang di era global. Analisis mencakup: dekripsi program pembentukan moralitas peserta didik, faktor-faktor pemicu pembentukan moralitas, dan implikasinya terhadap moralitas peserta didik. Studi kualitatif ini bersandar pada data di lokasi penelitian melalui observasi partisipan, wawancara terstruktur dan bebas, serta studi dokumentasi. Kajian ini menunjukkan bahwa pembentukan moralitas peserta didik MTs Mu’allimin Mu’allimat Rembang di era global bertahap mulai dari moral knowing, moral feeling, dan moral action. Program tersebut sudah terlaksana, tetapi kurang maksimal dikarenakan kesenjangan tahap moral feeling. Bersamaan dengan itu, beberapa faktor pemicu pembentukan moralitas di era global yaitu individual differences, belief, social, dan value. Sejalan dengan itu, pembentukan moralitas peserta didik berdampak pada moralitas peserta didik di era global. Hasil riset ini merekomendasikan pentingnya memaksimalkan peran lembaga pendidikan sarat agama dalam wujud manajerial dan pemahaman potensi peserta didik era global.

ABSTRACT:
Morality issues of students in the global era are widely discussed, but not much talk about the formation of morality in religious-laden educational institutions. The purpose of this study is to reveal the morality formation of MTs Mu'allimin Mu'allimat Rembang students in the global era. The analysis includes: a description of the morality formation program of students, the factors that trigger the morality formation, and the implications for the morality of students. This qualitative study relies on data at the research site through participant observation, structured and free interviews, and documentation studies. This study shows that the morality formation of MTs Mu'allimin Mu'allimat Rembang students in the global era is gradually starting from moral knowing, moral feeling, and moral action. The program has been implemented, but it is not optimally due to the gap in the moral feeling phase. At the same time, several factors that trigger the morality formation in the global era are individual differences, beliefs, social, and values. In line with that, the morality formation of students has an impact on the morality of students in the global era. The results of this research recommend the importance of maximizing the role of religious-laden educational institutions in the form of managerial and understanding the potential of students in the global era.
