Abstract

Penelitian ini dilatar belakangi suatu permasalahan yang berkenaan dengan pengaruh self-esteem dan visual learning style terhadap learning motivation pada mata pelajaran PAI di SMP N 2 Susukan Kab. Semarang. Fokus penelitian terkait tentang 1) Apakah terdapat pengaruh self-esteem terhadap learning motivation siswa pada mata pelajaran pendidikan agama Islam, 2) Apakah terdapat pengaruh visual learning style terhadap learning motivation siswa pada mata pelajaran pendidikan agama Islam, dan 3) Apakah terdapat pengaruh self-esteem dan visual learning style secara simultan terhadap learning motivation siswa pada mata pelajaran pendidikan agama Islam.
Penelitian ini termasuk jenis penelitian kuantitatif regresi berganda. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menggali infomasi dan menganalisis tentang pengaruh self-esteem dan visual learning style terhadap learning motivation pada mata pelajaran PAI di SMP N 2 Susukan Kab. Semarang dengan sumber data berasal dari angket 221 responden dan dokumentasi secara langsung serta melalui google form.
Hasil penelitian menunjukan bahwa 1. Terdapat Pengaruh positif dan signifikan self-esteem terhadap learning motivation siswa pada mata pelajaran PAI. Hasil data menunjukkan sig. (2-tailed) 0,001<0,05 yang berarti hipotesis diterima (signifikan). 2. Terdapat pengaruh positif dan signifikan visual learning style terhadap learning motivation siswa pada mata pelajaran PAI. Hasil data menunjukkan sig. (2-tailed) 0,001<0,05 yang berarti hipotesis diterima (signifikan). 3. Terdapat pengaruh positif dan signifikan self-esteem dan visual learning style secara simultan terhadap learning motivation siswa pada mata pelajaran PAI. Hal tersebut berdasarkan hasil perhitungan regresi ganda yang menunjukkan sig. (2-tailed) 0,001<0,05, yang berarti hipotesis diterima (signifikan). Jadi terdapat pengaruh yang positif dan signifikan antara self-esteem dan visual learning style secara simultan terhadap learning motivation siswa pada mata pelajaran PAI. Artinya, makin tinggi self-esteem siswa, maka akan semakin tinggi pula learning motivation siswa pada mata pelajaran PAI dan makin tinggi visual learning style maka akan semakin tinggi pula learning motivation siswa pada mata pelajaran PAI.

ABSTRACT:
This research was motivated by a problem related to the influence of self-esteem and visual learning style on learning motivation in PAI subjects at SMP N 2 Susukan Kab. Semarang. The focus of related research is 1) Whether there is an influence of self-esteem on student learning motivation in Islamic religious education subjects, 2) Whether there is an influence of visual learning style on student learning motivation in Islamic religious education subjects, and 3) Is there a simultaneous influence of self-esteem and visual learning style on student learning motivation in Islamic religious education subjects?
This research belongs to the type of multiple regression quantitative research. This study aims to explore information and analyze the influence of self-esteem and visual learning style on learning motivation in PAI subjects at SMP N 2 Susukan Kab. Semarang with data sources derived from questionnaires of 221 respondents and documentation directly and through google form.
The results showed that 1. There was a positive and significant influence of self-esteem on student learning motivation in PAI subjects. The data results show sig. (2-tailed) 0.001<0.05 which means the hypothesis is accepted (significant). 2. There is a positive and significant influence of visual learning style on student learning motivation in PAI subjects. The data results show sig. (2-tailed) 0.001<0.05 which means the hypothesis is accepted (significant). 3. There is a positive and significant influence of self-esteem and visual learning style simultaneously on student learning motivation in PAI subjects. This is based on the results of multiple regression calculations that show sig. (2-tailed) 0.001<0.05, which means the hypothesis is accepted (significant). So there is a positive and significant influence between self-esteem and visual learning style simultaneously on student learning motivation in PAI subjects.
