Abstract

Karakter adalah nilai-nilai perilaku manusia yang berhubungan dengan Tuhan Yang Maha Esa, diri sendiri, sesama manusia, lingkungan hidup, dan kebangsaan yang diwujudkan dalam pikiran, sikap, perasaan, perkataan, dan perbuatan berdasarkan norma agama, hukum, tata krama, budaya, dan adat istiadat. Dalam upaya meningkatkan kesesuaian dan mutu pendidikan karakter, Kementerian Pendidikan Nasional mengembangkan grand design karakter pendidikan untuk setiap jalur, jenjang, dan jenis satuan pendidikan. Berdasarkan latar belakang tersebut maka permasalahan dalam penelitian ini : (1) Bagaimana kurikulum pendidikan karakter di MTs Salafiyah Simbangkulon II Buaran dan MTs Muhammadiyah Pekajangan (2) Bagaimanakah proses pendidikan karakter di MTs Salafiyah Simbangkulon II Buaran dan MTs Muhammadiyah Pekajangan (3) Bagaimana output (hasil) pendidikan karakter di MTs Salafiyah Simbangkulon II dan MTs Muhammadiyah Pekajangan.
Penelitian ini termasuk jenis penelitian lapangan dengan metode kualitatif. Teknik pengumpulan data yang digunakan adalah observasi, wawancara dan dokumentasi. Data yang terkumpul dianalisis secara kaulitatif dengan paparan naratif deskriptif
Temuan penelitian menunjukkan bahwa: (1) Dalam membuat perencanaan kurikulum pendidikan karakter MTs Salafiyah Simbangkulon II Buaran dan MTs Muhammadiyah Pekajangan melibatkan seluruh stakeholder madrasah (2) Implementasi pendidikan karakter di MTs Salafiyah Simbangkulon II Buaran dan MTs Muhammadiyah Pekajangan melalui tiga cara (a) di dalam kelas (b) di luar kelas (c) melalui kegiatan ektra kurikuler (3) Dalam meningkatkan mutu out put pendidikan di MTs Salafiyah Simbangkulon II dan MTs Muhammadiyah Pekajangan dengan memperhatikan dua aspek; aspek akademis dan non akademis.
Temuan penelitian ini adalah pendidikan karakter unggul melalui tiga tahapan perencaan yang matang, impelentasi yang baik dan mutu (out put) yang berkualitas. Dengan tawaran teori model pendidikan character execellent berbasis spiritual learning.

ABSTRACT:
Character is the values of human behavior related to God Almighty, oneself, fellow human beings, the environment, and nationality which are embodied in thoughts, attitudes, feelings, words, and actions based on religious norms, laws, manners, culture, and customs. In an effort to improve the suitability and quality of character education, the Ministry of National Education has developed a character education grand design for each track, level, and type of educational unit. Based on this background, the problems in this study are: (1) How is the character education curriculum at MTs Salafiyah Sambangkulon II Buaran and MTs Muhammadiyah Pekajangan (2) What is the character education process at MTs Salafiyah Sambangkulon II Buaran and MTs Muhammadiyah Pekajangan (3) What is the output ( results) character education at MTs Salafiyah Simbangkulon II and MTs Muhammadiyah Pekajangan.
This research is a type of field research with qualitative methods. Data collection techniques used are observation, interviews and documentation. The collected data were analyzed qualitatively with descriptive narrative exposure
The research findings show that: (1) In planning the character education curriculum at MTs Salafiyah Sambangkulon II Buaran and MTs Muhammadiyah Pekajangan, all madrasah stakeholders are involved (2) Implementation of character education at MTs Salafiyah Sambangkulon II Buaran and MTs Muhammadiyah Pekajangan in three ways (a) in in class (b) outside of class (c) through extra-curricular activities (3) in improving the quality of educational output at MTs Salafiyah Simbangkulon II and MTs Muhammadiyah Pekajangan by paying attention to two aspects; academic and non-academic aspects.
The findings of this study are superior character education through three stages of careful planning, good implementation and quality (output). With the offer of an excellent character educational model theory based on spiritual learning.
