Abstract
Kebijakan merdeka belajar adalah pemulihan pendidikan demi terwujudnya Sumber Daya Manusia yang unggul. Pembelajaran yang selama ini monoton membuat siswa bosan yang ada hanya ceramah, penugasan dan latihan soal saja. Tiga lokasi sekolah yang diteliti sudah menerapkan merdeka belajar dengan program outdoor learning. Merdeka belajar memberikan ruang siswa untuk berfikir dan berekspresi. Outdoor learning merupakan strategi yang sangat baik karena dapat meningkatkan aktivitas siswa baik individu maupun kelompok. Sehingga dapat menghasilkan pembelajaran yang menarik dan berkesan karena ide pembelajaran dilakukan di luar kelas yaitu untuk menghindari kemonotonan dan kebosanan siswa dengan rutinitas belajar di kelas. Kelebinan outdoor learning mengungkap fakta dan memperoleh data di lapangan. Adapun kekurangan outdoor learning membutuhkan biaya untuk perjalanan. Ketiga sekolah yang diteliti pembelajarannya dikonsep bersahabat dengan alam.
Penelitian ini menggunakan penelitian kualitatif dengan pendekatan multi kasus. Dalam mencari data peneliti menggunakan cara wawancara mendalam, observasi partisipan, dan dokumentasi. Adapun uji keabsahan data menggunakan perpanjang pengamatan, meningkatkan ketekunan, trianggulasi, dan diskusi teman sejawat. Sedangkan analisis data menggunakan analisis data kasus individu, analisis data lintas kasus, kemudian akan direduksi, dan akan disajikan setelah itu akan ditarik kesimpulan.
Hasil penelitian menemukan beberapa temuan tentang merdeka belajar berbasis outdoor learning, yaitu 1). dilaksanakan secara integratif antara implementasi nilai karakter dengan memberikan kebebasan belajar kepada siswa yaitu dalam rangka menggali potensi dalam diri siswa dengan cara melibatkan alam sebagai bahan dan tempat untuk mengeskplorasi diri siswa. Dengan cara ini sangat efektif untuk memberikan bekal siswa agar menjadi pribadi yang berakhlak mulia. 2). Penerapan merdeka belajar belajar berbasis outdoor learning di SD Alam Ungaran, SD Alam Ar-Ridho Meteseh, dan SD Az-Zida Jimbaran diterapkan melalui intrakurikuler, kokurikuler, dan ekstrakurikuler. Dalam penerapannya intrakurikuler, kokurikuler, dan ekstrakurikuler dibuat menyesuaikan kebutuhan siswa. 3). Merdeka belajar berbasis outdoor learning di SD Alam Ungaran, SD Alam Ar-Ridho Meteseh, dan SD Az-Zida Jimbaran salah satu pendidikan alternatif untuk mengubah mental siswa menjadi pribadi yang dinamis, aktif, kreatif, produktif, dan mencetak generasi muda yang cinta terhadap lingkungan.
Saran bagi peneliti, pengelola lembaga pendidikan sekolah dasar, hendaknya selalu memperhatikan kebutuhan siswa dan selalu mendukung setiap tingkah laku yang dilakukan siswa. Sehingga merdeka belajar berbasis outdoor learning tidak hanya berorientasi pada kebebasan belajar saja, melainkan diperluas yakni dikembangkan menjadi wadah mencetak generasi emas yang dapat membantu berbagai permasalahan yang ada di dunia.
ABSTRACT:
The independent learning policy is the restoration of education in order to create superior human resources. Learning has always been monotonous, making students bored with only lectures, assignments and practice questions. The three school locations studied have implemented independent learning with an outdoor learning program. Freedom to learn gives students space to think and express themselves. Outdoor learning is an excellent strategy because it can increase student activity both individually and in groups. So it can produce interesting and memorable learning because the idea of learning is carried out outside the classroom, namely to avoid students' monotony and boredom with the routine of learning in class. The advantage of outdoor learning is revealing facts and obtaining data in the field. The disadvantage of outdoor learning is that it requires travel costs. The three schools studied had learning based on the concept of being friendly to nature.
This research uses a qualitative research approach with a multi-case approach. In searching for data, researchers used in-depth interviews, participant observation, and documentation. The data validity test uses extended observation, increased persistence, triangulation, and peer discussion. Meanwhile, data analysis uses individual case data analysis, cross-case data analysis, then it will be reduced, and will be presented after which conclusions will be drawn.
The results of the research found several findings regarding independent learning based on outdoor learning, namely 1). carried out in an integrative manner between implementing character values and providing freedom of learning to students, namely in order to explore the potential within students by involving nature as a material and place for students to explore themselves. This method is very effective in providing students with provisions to become individuals with noble character. 2). The implementation of independent learning based on outdoor learning at Alam Ungaran elementary school, Alam Ar-Ridho Meteseh elementary school, and Az-Zida Jimbaran elementary school is implemented through the unique curriculum of each research location. 3). Freedom to learn based on outdoor learning at SD Alam Ungaran, SD Alam Ar-Ridho Meteseh, and SD Az-Zida Jimbaran is an alternative education to change the mentality of students into dynamic individuals who are active, creative, productive, and produce a young generation who love the environment.
Suggestions for researchers, managers of elementary school educational institutions, should always pay attention to students' needs and always support every behavior carried out by students. So that freedom of learning is not only oriented towards freedom of learning, but also beyond that, it is developed into a forum for producing a golden generation that can help with various problems that exist in the world.
