Berdasarkan amanat UU No 6 Tahun 2014 tentang desa, bahwa manajemen pemerintahan desa diserahkan sepenuhnya dan mandiri kepada desa melalui pola bottom up, agar lebih cepat terwujud kemandirian dan kesejahteraan warga desa. Peraturan tersebut menjadi titik awal dibentuknya Badan Usaha Milik Desa (BUMDes) untuk mengelola potensi yang ada di desanya masing-masing. BUMDes Moroberkah merupakan Badan Usaha Milik Desa Mororejo yang menjadi Badan Usaha Terbaik se-Kabupaten Kendal. Keberhasilan BUMDes dalam menjalankan usahanya tentunya tidak lekang dari peran masyarakat dalam membantu mengembangkan Badan Usaha tersebut. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui bagaimana proses partisipasi masyarakat dalam mengembangkan BUMDes Moroberkah, serta faktor yang mendorong masyarakat berpartisipasi dalam pengembangan BUMDes Moroberkah Desa Mororejo.
Penelitian ini menggunakan metode penelitian kualitatif, dengan menyajikan data secara deskriptif melalui pendekatan studi kasus. Teknik pengambilan data melalui wawancara dengan narasumber yang dipilih secara purposive, observasi langsung, dan dokumentasi. Analisis data berdasarkan fenomena data di lapangan dan dikaitkan dengan teori partisipasi masyarakat.
Hasil penelitian ini menunjukan partisipasi masyarakat dalam pengembangan BUMDes Moroberkah Desa Mororejo cukup baik. Masyarakat terlibat aktif mulai dari tahap perencanaan, pelaksanaan, kemanfaaan, dan evaluasi progam kerja BUMDes Moroberkah. Keterlibatan masyarakat juga dipengaruhi oleh beberapa hal seperti kesadaran, keuntungan, patronase klientelisme, dan kontrol masyarakat dalam berjalanya organisasi.

ABSTRACT:
Based on the mandate of Law Number 6 of 2014 concerning villages, village government management is handed over completely and independently to the village through a bottom up pattern, so that the independence and welfare of village residents can be realized more quickly. This regulation is the starting point for the formation of Village-Owned Enterprises (BUMDes) to manage the potential that exists in their respective villages. BUMDes Moroberkah is a Mororejo Village Owned Business Entity which is the Best Business Entity in Kendal Regency. The success of BUMDes in running their business is of course inseparable from the role of the community in helping to develop the Business Entity. This research aims to find out the process of community participation in developing BUMDes Moroberkah, as well as the factors that encourage the community to participate in developing BUMDes Moroberkah Mororejo Village.
This research uses qualitative research methods, presenting data descriptively through a case study approach. Data collection techniques include interviews with sources selected purposively, direct observation and documentation. Data analysis is based on data phenomena in the field and is linked to community participation theory.
The results of this research show that community participation in the development of BUMDes Moroberkah Mororejo Village is quite good. The community is actively involved starting from the planning, implementation, usefulness and evaluation stages of the Moroberkah BUMDes work program. Community involvement is also influenced by several things such as awareness, profits, patronage clientelism, and community control in the running of the organization.
