Abstract
The sky has long been a canvas of wonder and curiosity for humankind. From ancient astronomers to modern scientists, the quest to understand the cosmos has inspired countless innovations and institutions—among them, the planetarium. This book emerges as a timely contribution to the discourse on astronomy education and management, particularly within the context of Islamic universities. It offers both a theoretical framework and practical insights for integrating the scientific exploration of the universe with a holistic educational mission rooted in the Unity of Sciences (UoS). Structured into five comprehensive chapters, the book begins with an overview of planetarium management in Islamic academic institutions and a literature review that sets the stage for deeper inquiry. The second chapter builds foundational knowledge in astronomy, management theory, and the philosophical underpinnings of UoS, offering readers a rich and multidimensional understanding of the subject.
