Perception of friendship conflict is an individual's process of managing and translating a substantive or emotional conflict within the circle of friendship. This perception process produces two ways of looking at friendship conflict, namely positive and negative views according to the individual's own characteristics. This research aims to determine whether there is an influence of emotional regulation and interpersonal communication on the perception of friendship conflict among state university psychology students in the city of Semarang. The method used in this research is a quantitative method with 360 psychology students aged 18-22 years as subjects. The sampling method in this research uses non-probability sampling with incidental sampling technique. The measuring instruments used in this research are the friendship conflict perception scale, emotion regulation scale, and interpersonal communication scale. The analysis used in this research uses multiple linear regression with SPSS version 27 for Windows. The results of this study show that there is an influence of emotional regulation and interpersonal communication on the perception of friendship conflict among state university psychology students in the city of Semarang with a significance value of 0.000 (p<0.05) and a coefficient of determination value of 0.113, which means that there is an influence of emotional regulation and interpersonal communication on perceptions. friendship conflict between state university psychology students in the city of Semarang with a percentage of 11.3%.

ABSTRAK:
Persepsi mengenai konflik pertemanan merupakan proses pengelolaan dan penerjemahan individu terhadap suatu konflik yang bersifat substansif maupun emosional di dalam lingkup pertemanan. Proses persepsi tersebut menghasilkan dua cara pandang terhadap konflik pertemanan yaitu cara pandang positif dan negatif sesuai dengan karakteristik individu itu sendiri. Penelitian ini bertujuan guna mengetahui apakah terdapat pengaruh regulasi emosi dan komunikasi interpersonal terhadap persepsi konflik pertemanan mahasiswa psikologi universitas negeri di kota Semarang. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah metode kuantitatif dengan subjek mahasiswa psikologi berusia 18-22 tahun sebanyak 360 orang. Metode pengambilan sampel dalam penelitian ini menggunakan non-probabilty sampling dengan teknik incidental sampling. Alat ukur yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah skala persepsi konflik pertemanan, skala regulasi emosi, dan skala komunikasi interpersonal. Analisis yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini menggunakan regresi linear berganda dengan SPSS versi 27 for windows. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukan bahwa terdapat pengaruh regulasi emosi dan komunikasi interpersonal terhadap persepsi konflik pertemanan mahasiswa psikologi universitas negeri di kota Semarang dengan nilai signifikansi 0,000 (p<0,05) dan nilai koefisien determinasi 0,113 yang artinya terdapat pengaruh regulasi emosi dan komunikasi interpersonal terhadap persepsi konflik pertemanan mahasiswa psikologi universitas negeri di kota Semarang dengan persentase 11,3%.
