Abstract
ABSTRACT:
Third-Party Funds (DPK) are the primary source of funding for the operational activities of Islamic banking, particularly in the distribution of financing. However, over the past eight years, Islamic banks in Indonesia have shown a trend of slowing DPK growth. This study aims to analyze the influence of Global Economic Policy Uncertainty (GEPU) and macroeconomic indicators, which include the BI 7-Day Reverse Repo Rate (BI7DRR), Inflation, and the Industrial Production Index (IPI), on the DPK of Islamic banks in Indonesia for the period 2017–2024. This research uses a quantitative approach with a population of 33 Islamic banking entities in Indonesia, consisting of 13 islamic commercial banks (BUS) and 20 islamic business units (UUS), where the sample selection was carried out using a saturated sampling technique. The data were analyzed using multiple linear regression with the help of EViews 12 software. The results show that, partially, the GEPU and IPI variables have a positive and significant effect on DPK. Meanwhile, BI7DRR has a positive but not significant effect, while inflation has a negative and not significant effect on DPK.
