Abstract

Pembelajaran keterampilan membaca bahasa Arab di MI Nurul Huda Rajekwesi masih menggunakan metode konvensional yang berfokus pada buku teks saja. Hal ini menyebabkan kurangnya antusiasme dalam mengikuti pembelajaran. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menjawab pertanyaan: (1) Bagaimana pengembangan media Scrapbook berbasis PBL? (2) Bagaimana validasi ahli terhadap pengembangan media Scrapbook berbasis PBL? 3) Bagaimana media Scrapbook berbasis PBL dapat meningkatkan keterampilan membaca bahasa Arab pada siswa kelas IV di MI Nurul Huda Rajekwesi?
Penelitian ini menggunakan desain penelitian Research and Development (R&D), dengan model pengembangan ADDIE. Untuk mengukur efektivitas media, peneliti menggunakan jenis eksperimen one group sample pre-test post-test. Subjek penelitian adalah siswa kelas IV MI Nurul Huda Rajekwesi. Teknik pengumpulan data meliputi observasi, wawancara, angket, tes, dan dokumentasi.
Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa: 1) Semua siswa kelas IV dan guru bahasa Arab setuju dengan adanya pengembangan media scrapbook berbasis PBL. Media ini berbentuk buku berukuran A4, menyajikan tema “uhibbu Indonesia” dengan tiga topik bacaan, variasi elemen 3D, dan evaluasi interaktif. 2) Hasil uji kelayakan buku yang dikembangkan mendapat skor dengan persentase 86% dari ahli materi dengan kategori baik, sementara dari ahli media memperoleh skor sebesar 88,8% dengan kategori baik. Artinya media yang dikembangkan layak untuk diterapkan dalam proses pembelajaran keterampilan membaca. 3) Efektivitas media diuji dengan uji Paired Sample T-Test dan uji N-Gain. Hasil uji-t uji-t sebesar 0,001 < 0,05 (Sig. 2-tailed) yang berarti signifikan. Artinya, H0 ditolak dan Ha diterima. Hasil uji N-Gain sebesar 61,04% dengan kategori “cukup efektif”. Respon siswa kelas IV dan guru terhadap media memperoleh skor masing-masing 4,77 dan 4,87 dengan kategori “sangat positif”. Berdasarkan hasil tersebut, dapat disimpulkan bahwa media scrapbook berbasis PBL cukup efektif untuk meningkatkan hasil belajar keterampilan membaca bahasa Arab siswa.

ABSTRACT:
The teaching of Arabic reading skills at MI Nurul Huda Rajekwesi still uses the conventional method that focuses solely on textbooks. This leads to a lack of enthusiasm among students in participating in the learning process. This study aims to answer the following questions: (1) How is the development of Scrapbook media based on PBL? (2) How is the expert validation of the development of Scrapbook media based on PBL? 3) How can Scrapbook media based on PBL improve Arabic reading skills in grade IV students at MI Nurul Huda Rajekwesi?
This research uses a Research and Development (R&D) design, with the ADDIE development model. To measure the media's effectiveness, the researcher employed a one-group sample pre-test post-test experimental design. The subjects of this study were the fourth-grade students of MI Nurul Huda Rajekwesi. Data collection techniques included observation, interviews, questionnaires, tests, and documentation.
The results of this study show that: (1) All fourth-grade students and Arabic teachers agreed on the development of Scrapbook Learning Media Based on PBL Method. This media is in the form of an A4-sized book, presenting the theme "Uhibbu Indonesia" with three reading topics, variations of 3D elements, and interactive evaluation. (2) The feasibility test results showed that the developed book received a score of 86% from content experts, categorized as "good," and a score of 88.8% from media experts, also categorized as "good." This indicates that the developed media is suitable for use in the teaching process of reading skills. (3) The effectiveness of the media was tested using Paired Sample T-Test and N-Gain tests. The results of the t-test showed a significance value of 0.001 < 0.05 (Sig. 2-tailed), meaning the result is statistically significant. This leads to the rejection of the null hypothesis (H0) and acceptance of the alternative hypothesis (Ha). The N-Gain test result was 61,04%, categorized as "moderately effective." The responses of the fourth-grade students and teachers toward the media were scored at 4.77 and 4.87, respectively, categorized as "very positive." Based on these results, it can be concluded that the Scrapbook Learning Media Based on PBL Method is moderately effective in improving the Arabic reading skills of the students.
