Abstract
This qualitative case study aims to investigated the EFL learners’ perceptions in utilizing Instagram Reels for learning pronunciation. The participants were 5 seventh-semester students in class A of English Education Department at State Islamic University of Walisongo Semarang. The participants were chosen through preliminary research based on three criteria: 1) active Instagram users for two years, 2) frequently use Instagram Reels for English learning purposes, 3) frequently use pronunciation- related Instagram Reels. The data were collected through Google form questionnaires and interview through WhatsApp video call, then analysed using thematic analysis within Technology Acceptance Model (TAM) framework. This study revealed that EFL learners have a positive perception toward learning pronunciation through Instagram Reels. This study highlights the potential of Instagram Reels as an additional resource for learning pronunciation. Future researchers can further investigate specific accounts that provides pronunciation learning and explore its effectiveness and impact on enhancing EFL learners’ pronunciation.
