There are many studies on the use of CALL in English language learning. Still, generally, they do not directly address the views of Thai students on using CALL for English language learning in the digital era. This research formulates the problem of how Thai students’ views the use of CALL in the digital era and what difficulties they face. This study used a Qualitative research method to help the researchers obtain an in-depth understanding. Three ninth-semester Thai students became the population in this study, with the sample determined using purposive sampling techniques. Data were collected using direct interviews. Interview questions include Thai students’ views on using CALL in English language learning in the digital age and the difficulties Thai students face in developing digital citizenship through CALL. Data analysis in this study involves several stages: data condensation, data display, and conclusion. The results of this study indicate that Thai students have a favourable view towards using CALL in the digital era for English language learning. Still, they also face several difficulties when using CALL. With these findings, this research suggests adapting learning to their characteristics and needs to enhance the effectiveness of CALL usage and implementing strategies to improve digital literacy.
