Abstract

This study explores how people can write using not only words, but also images, audio, and video. Grounded in Multimodal Theory, the research focuses on students' experiences with Digital Multimodal Composing (DMC) using Book Creator for creative writing. Employing a qualitative case study approach, data were collected from 10 EFL students through semi-structured interviews and E-book documentation. The findings reveal that students experienced increased creativity, engagement, and digital awareness in the process of creative writing, while also encountering challenges such as technical difficulties and limited platform features. The study concludes that while DMC can enhance the experience of creative writing, its success depends on proper guidance and sufficient technical support.
