This study aims to examine the lesson planning documents used by EFL preservice teachers in integrating 21st-century skills into their microteaching classes. A total of 20 lesson plans were collected from sixth-semester students at UIN Walisongo Semarang. This research employed a descriptive qualitative approach through document analysis. The findings indicate that collaboration skills were the most frequently integrated among the four 21st-century skills, while creativity skills were still lacking. This presents a challenge for teachers in achieving a balanced integration of all 21st-century skills. A more even implementation of these skills is expected to make the learning process more engaging and motivating.
