This thesis explores the structure of surah al-Ashr that has more structures that contained in many paradigms and aspect of science such as cosmology talks about time, theology talks about truth, etic talks about good working, social aspect talks about recommending, philosophy aspect talks about truth, and last talks about patience it can find in the psychology aspect.in the other statement that this surah is summary of contents in al-qur’an. If the human would like to reflects and thinking the content this surah, they will get foundation of life in this world and hereafter.
The purpose of this writing to find the analysis theme on the surah al-ashar according to Muhammed Arkoun and the relation between myth and qiro’ah in the surah al-ashr. This research which included in category of data-based research of literature in the library so that this research which library research. Namely collect and analyzed data taken from literature: book, jurnal, newsletter, article, and others. The writer examined that various kind of literature have relevance and contained with surah al-Ashr. To obtain the maximum result, the writer only focus the discussion on the meaning and the structure theme in surah al-ashr by using structure analysis of Muhammed Arkoun.
From the research result can be that the structure theme of surah al-Ashr, talking about how important time in this world, loss human, trick to get success human in this world and hereafter, with attention to faith , doing good work, recommend in the truth and the patience. And the surah al-Ashr has symbols and myth that shows to human as the creature of God that there is no time is bad and unlucky, but the badness is coming from human own. Because time is fulfilled by bad working will bad also for actor. and for the faith of last human in the prophet’s era that as the warning because they did not used time as useful for their life.
