Emotion is one of the aspects that can affect students' understanding of learning materials. In this study, there are four research questions: 1) Do positive emotions affect learners’ reading comprehension in Informal Digital Learning of English? 2) Do negative emotions affect learners’ reading comprehension in Informal Digital Learning of English? 3) Does informal digital learning affect learners’ reading comprehension in English? 4) Do emotions simultaneously affect learners’ reading comprehension in Informal Digital Learning of English? This study uses a quantitative approach, using multiple regression data analysis to test the effect of each independent variable on the dependent variable. In this study, the sample used was 59 eleventh-grade social studies students of MAN Salatiga, with 15 male students and 44 female students. The result of this study showed that each independent variable affects the dependent variable. Positive emotions have a positive effect, negative emotions have a negative effect, and Informal Digital Learning of English has a negative effect on reading comprehension. The objectives in this study: 1) The effect of positive emotions on learners reading comprehension in Informal Digital Learning of English 2) The effect of negative emotions on learners reading comprehension in Informal Digital Learning of English 3) The effect informal digital learning on learners reading comprehension in English 4) To determine whether positive and negative emotions simultaneously affect learners reading comprehension in Informal Digital Learning of English.
