Abstract
This study is to exploring the students' perceptions in learning English vocabulary through watching YouTube videos, students’ learning experience in learning vocabulary through YouTube videos, and point of view of their vocabulary impact after learning through YouTube videos. The data of this study were collected from SMPN 16 Semarang through interviews with ten students. The analysis was carried out by student experience. The results showed that YouTube is one of the social media which has various uses and benefits, participants can pronounce, spell well and can interpret of making sentences after watching YouTube which their vocabulary also improve and YouTube as a learning source has a positive impact on participants vocabulary power. This research has given the output that teachers can use YouTube as an alternative source of learning.
