Abstract

Liveworksheet is a website used by teachers to create worksheets with interactive materials and work online. This study aims (1) to find out how students' experience using liveworksheet as an English learning media in the eighth grade of SMP Negeri 44 Semarang and (2) to describe how students' challenges using liveworksheet. This study used descriptive qualitative method. The participants in this study were 31 students of grade 8b for questionnaire, 5 students for interview and 1 English Education teacher. We collected data using questionnaires and interviews. The results showed that most of the students had a great interest in learning when using liveworksheet. The students said that Liveworksheet is very easy to use and also fun with its features. However, problems arise from several points such as understanding the worksheet instructions, vocabulary, limited data package, internet signal, and students who do not have cell phones. As a result, learning English through Liveworksheet did not go well as expected. The implication of this research is that teachers can use Liveworksheet to support the learning process and teachers must always innovate so that students do not get bored learning English.
